Hi, apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere.
I am looking at the 16GB iphone 4 on a Tesco Mobile 12 month contract.
At the end of the 12 months when I'm out of contract, can I buy a sim-free plan from any provider (vodafone, o2), or will I have to choose only Tesco Mobile sim free plans? Thanks in advance.
Tesco will unlock the phone for you at the end of 12 months and you can go with any network you want.0 -

Im assuming you can continue the contract untill you cancel OR upgrade with what ever iphone deal they have going then.
BUT can you keep your same mobile number if you jump on the iphone deal that they have at the time ?0 -

Yes you just continue paying the contract amount until you decide to stay or leave it just rolls over to a monthly contract. If you were going for another iphone you would just use your existing sim to keep the number.Or get the PAC code if you leave for another network.0 -

What if I am out of my 12 month contract on Tesco Mobile and want to switch over to a lower month-by-month sim only tariff on Tesco Mobile.
Can I still keep my number ?0 -
i think i just got myself a good deal, phoned up 3 as i am now due for an upgtrade from my prehistoric nokia n96:eek:, and managed to get the 16gb iphone 4 for free, with the tariff being £35 per month for 500 mins, 5000 texts, 1gb internet and 150 picture messages, which is fine by me, as i always text more than ring, so willl use no where near the 500 mins, i could have paid £99 and got the same tariff for £30 per month, but as being as it only worked out an £11 saving decided against, as i have never had a free upgrade before, even when i upgraded to the nokia n96 it cost me £150:eek::eek:, only trouble is i got to wait till november as they are awaiting a new batch that hopefully wont have the well advertised problems, does this seem a good deal?, and how far will the 1gb internet get me?:A Luke 6:38 :AThe above post is either from personal experience or is my opinion based on the person God has made me and the way I understand things. Please don't be offended if that opinion differs from yours, but feel free to click the 'Thanks' button if it's at all helpful!0

orange sold me a 32gb iphone 4 instead of a 16gb one, for the same price, when i was looking for my new contract.
I'd try your local orange shop, this was the orange shop in the abbey centre newtonabbey northern ireland0
