I'm on a orange contract including 500mg data per month
Can I buy a sim free Iphone 4 and cut down my sim and start using it OR do I have to change tariffs/let Orange know?
Also is there anywhere where a sim free iphone 4 (16GB)is available for less than £499- acc to both Quidco and TopCashback the Iphone4 is EXCLUDED from the 3% cash backYou know what... you can't beat a good bargain!!!0 -
Hi, apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere.
I am looking at the 16GB iphone 4 on a Tesco Mobile 12 month contract.
At the end of the 12 months when I'm out of contract, can I buy a sim-free plan from any provider (vodafone, o2), or will I have to choose only Tesco Mobile sim free plans? Thanks in advance.
the only problem being that Tesco dont currently offer the iPhone 4. I have been waiting for them myself as o2 are awful IMO. :mad:No One I Think Is In My Tree.:cool:0 -

Hello,
Havent seen it mentioned on here, but until Sunday, Quidco are giving £120 cashback on any iphone Contract.
I phoned O2 y/day, as my contract is up. Currently paying £25 a month, but only use around 100mins a month. They offered me an iphone 4 16gb for £30 a month for 2 yrs, 300 mins and to pay £199 for the phone.
Just looked up exactly the same details on the vodafone line through Quidco and the phone is only (only!) £169, so £30 cheaper plus the £120 cashback, which would nearly pay for the phone!
So much for wanting to keep me as an O2 customer!0 -

Yes I'm the same, they told me a new iPhone4 32gig would be £239 plus £35 a month for a 600 mins contract. On Mobile.co.uk the phone is £199 then the cashback. Again so much for wanting my custom0 -
O2 are expensive and offer poor service. much better deals out there.0

TBH I've found them really good. I'm happy to stay with them but have put myself on a rolling contract with only 1 months notice. Will wait till the cash flow is better, ie after Xmas, before I upgrade0 -
Where's the cheapest option to buy a sim free 3g 8gb iphone? I'm in Northern Ireland so can buy locally or online. Thanks

Unfortunately the 3G is long discontinued. You might be able to get a sim free 8GB 3GS from Apple (though I'm unsure if they offer the 3GS as sim free, I think it only became an option with the 4).
You might be able to get a mint 3G from somewhere like CEX (only problem with buying this way is you don't know if it's genuine sim free or just software unlocked).====0
