O2 are expensive and offer poor service. much better deals out there.

You think they're expensive, take a look at Orange they're so much more expensive, tbh, i've found o2 really good, i've been with them for a while now. I got my handset cheap too, compared to Vodafone and definitely Orange!

Well, they seem to be the only provider with iPhone 4's in stock on 18 month contracts, and they are cheaper too.

For £35 a month and a 1 off fee of £160 (the fee is the cheapest) for 18 months, you get

    • 300 mins
    • unlimited texts (5000 fair usage policy)
    • 500 MB of internet
    • £160 one off fee for the phone.

So yea its a good deal, and o2 offer the same package for the same but the one off fee is higher at £199. So yea if you want to buy an iPhone 4 go with vodafone and you might aswell save £39, i know its not alot, but as they say, every little helps!

or just go into a store. Hope this helps :)
  • Three via Quidco, phone is £99, with £100 cashback...Plus for me at least, a far superior 3G network to Vodafone's.

i am with voda and the 3g is very poor, i am considering three on a sim only deal?? "watcherman are you impressed with 3? what area are you from and whats customer srvice like etc"

also 500mb is not very much data at all so bear this in mind, its roughly 16.5mb per day. one webpage can use 1mb!!
500mb is roughly 5 hrs browsing general sites. i think 750mb to 1gb is average usage personally.
whats the point in having an iphone if your worried about data usage.

I am getting 1.5-2mb download speeds. Customer service, well, so far so good, couple of phones calls, and yes they speak pigeon English, but if you persevere and stay polite, they seem accommodating enough :)

They have reduced the amount of cashback since I bought it on Monday  from £100 to £56, it says iPhone on the right hand side of the page, about half way down.
  • Any place you can get a reasonable iPhone charger? The Apple ones are a compelte rip-off.
A USB plug would be enough as we have enough of the cables.
    Cheers

I have an old iPhone 3G and I'm on the 02 simplicity £20pm ( 600 mins, 1200 texts unlimited wifi) I want to buy the new iPhone 4 and was considering just buying it from apple for £499 but the deal from Tesco on £20 pm contract (£320 upfront 250 mins unltd text ultd wifi) is a much better deal as i rarely use 200 minutes . The problem is that they just don't seem to have them in stock and my local store doesn't have them on show at all!!
  • I got this deal from 3 as an upgrade today and pretty happy with it.

Only problems is got to wait until 30th Nov for delivery :(

hi guys, is this deal freely available or does it require a bit of haggling?
