    Hi There

The deal i have been offered by Vodafone is:

    600 min.
    unlim texts.
    500mb mobile internet.
    1gig wifi hotspots.
    100 picture messages.
    unlim vodafone to vodafone min.

All of the above for £35 for 24months or £40 for 18months. They want £119 for the phone.

If this is not that good could you please advise any better deals or better networks to go with.

This deal was an upgrade offer, they said they cannot do anything with the price of the hand set or the price plan..

    please help guys.......

as i said previously, i get a free iphone 4 16gb, 500mins, 5000 texts, 1gb internet allowance, 150 pic messages for £35 a month from 3, could have got the same for £30 a month if i paid £99 up front for the phone, mind you this is an upgrade offer through 3
Take every day as it comes!!

Can you have 2 iPhones on one contract?
  • Quick question that I've tried asking on the 02 forums but I'm having a hard time getting my point across!

I setup my new iphone 4 last night by connecting it to itunes and restoring from a backup of my 3G.

I have not yet setup the microsim (using the swap my sim page) as I was under the impression that the phone needed to activated in itunes before I could setup the sim.

I've still got the 'awaiting activation, this may take some time' message after 12 hours. If I setup the sim swap will this then activate the phone?

I think I might have done things in the wrong order and am getting myself confused :o

Am really tempted to get an Iphone, can you friendly people on here help:
    - not had a contract phone for a while. It's the data element I am most worried about. I'd go for an orange network - how do you know how much data you've used and have left for the month?

    - what sort of charges are there for going over your data limit?

    - if someone here has the around 750 limit on data - how much does that equate to or what are the more 'thirsty' things that gobble up data limits.

Thanks everyone, looking forward to getting an iphone soon!

I doubt anyone is going to credit you with the full retail value. Ebay is probably your best bet.

  • Hi guys i used this thread for heads up on an 3GS 16 Gb in May, but the wife is after one now (do they have refurb I 4's)
I will be looking here regularly but so far 02 are very poor with their offers.
Tesco phones are like Hens Teeth too......
Galaxy or Desire phones any good????
  • I'm pretty happy with my decision to go sim free on an IPhone 4. The upfront costs are high, but I'm able to go onto a £15 a month simplicity tarriff over 12 months that will suit me fine. Compared to £35 a month for 18 months and £220 for the phone, I'm saving a fair bit!

Add to that the fact I can upgraded as soon as something new comes along, I'm pretty pleased.

Might be worth a look if you can stump up the cash up front.
  • Hi, I've come to the end of my Orange contract and would like to go for the iphone 4 32GB on an 18mth contract.

I called the upgrade team yesterday and they offered me the phone at the regular price of 319 pounds on a 35 pounds/mth contract with 10% off the monthly bill. I've been with Orange for 10yrs, and am not really impressed with their offer (considering I used to get 2000 free loyalty minutes and was entitled to 10% off the monthly bills anyway as an NHS employee). They even refused to throw in any photomessaging or other bait!

When I went to the shop, they said Orange no longer does unlimited internet access (on their website they still advertise unlimited internet but with 750 MB fair usage policy).

Should I cut my losses with Orange and go with a different provider? Another point to consider is I may not be in the country after 1yr so I definitely don't want a 24mth contract.

    Thanks for your help!

  • Hi,

My son has just had his IPhone 3GS stolen. Has anyone a suggestion for getting a replacement without needing to go for another contract, his has a long time to run so we really only want to buy the hand-set.
