I am desperate for an Iphone, had a crappy samsung for nearly a year and fed up with it soooo was very excited at my upcoming upgrade date in october...however vodafone are out of stock for the iphone3gs (i cant afford an iphone4). Ive been nosying on the forums for vodafone and it seems people have been waiting weeks and weeks for stock to come back in and im not keen to be kept hanging on. Ive looked at other networks and this seems to be the best deal for me...
3 mobile (£35 per month)
internet texter 900
900 minutes (anytime, any network)
5000 texts
1GB internet
5000 Three-to-Three minutes
Voicemail
no upfront costs for handset and if i go through quidco £80 cashback. I would need to pay off my vodafone contract which expires in january. Im just abit worried about the signal with 3 as ive heard in the past that its not the best, is this still the case?Total DebtWas £4145.81now £0.000 -

Check where you live/work etc for their coverage. Where I live, in London (not in the middle of nowhere), there is perfect O2 and Orange signal but NO Three signal. Its a joke. I almost bought a three iphone too. Google Three Network coverage.0 -
I live in a rural area and get perfect Three signal but poor Orange and Vodafone.0

Just spoke to Orange and have been offered this deal:
For 2 business users.
2 X iphone 4 32 gb
On £ 30 + vat each pm.
600 mins
unlimited text
Igb data Phone cost £ 120
or
2 X iphone 4 32 gb
On £ 40 + vat each pm.
unlimited mins.
unlimited text
Igb data
Phone cost £ 20
Is this a good deal?
I haven't really pushed them yet.
Can I expect anymore? Our contract is until January 2011 so we don't have much leverage unless we wait until then.
Insurance only covers faults to phones. and is inc.
Is it worth getting extra ins. and at what cost?
as we pay about £48 plus vat at present with no text or data I'm thinking the £30 pm deal is only a bit more and with the texts and data so worth going for.
Any thoughts.?
I knowthere are other good deals out there but would be happy staying with orange than changing to tescos or someone else and all the hassle involved.0 -

After month's of deliberation, I've decided to simply upgrade my 3 package to the iPhone 500 texter with the 16gb phone. Only thing that's stopping me now is the question of cashback. If I'm to keep my number, I assume I'll have to dial 333 and ask for an upgrade. If I have to do this, then I'll have to pass on the £64 cashback currently offered by topcashback.
Is it possible to keep my existing 3 number AND get the cashback? If not, should I consider changing my number?
Many thanks, LT.0 -
PAC your number to a PAYG phone, buy the iPhone via the cashback site and then PAC your number back to Three again. If I've helped you please show your appreciation by using the "Thanks" button
