ordered mine yesterday - did the 3 Mobile deal on a 16Gb.

Got it with £64 cashback and £20 free accessories using a voucher code :)

    sweeeeet!

whats the terms of the deal?
  • just the standard offer from 3 on the £30 / month tariff: 500 minutes & 5000 texts plus 1Gb data.

I figured that as a out of contract, high user I'll be better off getting an unlocked iphone4 from apple and then renewing my current orange contract on a 12 month deal with the most expensive phone - which i can then sell to offset the costs of buying an iphone.

The thing is I want to stay on my old tarriff, which is not available anymore(rather then getting a sim only iphone tarriff) . So i figured I will have to cut down my sim card to micro sim size and ask for high amount of data when I renew (currently I have a complimentary 80Mb).

Are there any potential pitfalls i might have missed?

    Thanks

So it's upgrade time, I was wondering if anyone else has upgraded on the 02 simplicity deal? What's the best option?
when I enter my upgrade code it gives me simplicity o2 1 month deals, not 12 months. In the FAQs it says just select current tariff if you want to keep what you are on thenm I guess I could have credit?

    Anyone help out please?

    Anyone please?

how did you get the £64 cashback and £20 free accessories using a voucher code??.
  • cashback is from either quidco, or another cashback website - and then I found a voucher code online for the free accessories… just google.

  • Due my upgrade from Vodafone, but was disappointed to hear that I would just be offered the same deals as new customers and there was no negotiation what so ever on an iPhone.

Have been with them for 4 years and was offered good deals on other phones but quite keen on the iPhone. Seems odd that I can start a new contract and get £80 cashback this week on Quidco but get no sort of discount through Vodafone themselves.

Would like to keep the same number ideally. Have been looking at the Tesco and 3 deals and think that may be the way I go.

One question I have though is whats the best way to insure the iPhone? Vodafone wanted £12.99 a month!

I am in the same situation, I would like to keep my phone number and stay with Vodafone. Can we not request a PAC code and then use it to go back to Vodafone via quidco? :D If only!
