I too have just rang O2 who also told me that there were none in stock the best they could offer me was a free 8GB Iphone 3G and they also said that if i wanted a 16GB 3G iphone that i would have to pay £89 !!!

I mentioned about the deals that others were getting and that i had been told that there were some reconditioned 3GS in stock and she just said no there werent any and that they did not know when they would get more stock, she also would not budge on the deal so i left it.

I currently pay £25 a month and that includes £5 off per month for loyalty, to be fair the most my bill ever is is £30 but i do have broadband with O2. What kind of deal do you guys think i should be getting ??

They're having us on!! I just rang and asked straight out if they had any - no we don't should be in soon.
Rang again, told them the problem with being sent wrong phone (3G instead of 3GS) and he went away for good 2-3mins came back and checked all my details - sorry none in don't know when they're coming back in stock.
Rang a third time for the chance, told them got wrong phone do you have them in stock? Yes straight away, no messing about and managed to go from the deal I had
16GB 3GS free £30 - 75mins 125txt plus extra 200mins
and got
16GB 3GS free £28 - 600mins 500txt.
So I'm happy but just shows they are messing around and to keep trying.

For £35 a month. The unlimited texts was the clincher...

Ive been trying for 3-4 weeks now.... but happy with that as the phone itself is worth well over £500 in itself.

Ahhhh i can't upgrade till another 2 weeks....and there wont be any refurbished ones left by then...and it will take months for the new ones to come in so looks like il be getting a new one-My luck is terrible

has anyone managed to get the new 3gs for £30 a month-with unlimited texts as thats what i need-i was hoping for a reduced price on the handset as well!

advice to ppl is if u don't get anywhere with the first sales rep...say never mind...and phone back till u get someone who is helpful....that's what i've had to do every time-each person tells you a diff' thing

Phoned this morning at 9:30 and said that i wanted to check what they could offer me to upgrade my iphone. Chap told me about the refurbs ( i simply asked what my options were). He said that the system was saying something unusual ("to be confirmed" instead of "due on...") and said he would just check if there were any available. Came back in two mins and said that they had literally just come in a few minutes ago and i could choose what i wanted.

He offered me 16gb 3gs free on £30pm tariff and up. The 32gb 3gs was an additional £100.

I got a text at lunch time saying it would be with me in the morning.

Just keep phoning them every day till they come in, thats what I've been doing for the past couple of weeks. One of the people I spoke to a couple of days ago did comment that this is the longest time that they had been without any, so just keep being persistent until you get one.

I just phoned up o2 on the off chance to see if i could upgrade yet as is ment to be another two weeks 'and...

they said yes, then wouldnt budge on any offer-not even a fiver-as a gold customer of 8 years!! how come you all got these deals...i told him about them and he said they don't exsit.

He had a 16gb ref 3gs in stock for free but wanted 45 quid a month for it over 2 years contract....i was like no way! so i am going to try back 2mrw and see what they say...absolutley gutted if there not gona give me a discount. I said i didnt mind paying for the handset but i wanted unlimited texts for 30-35 quid a month and they said unlimited texts doesnt exist with the iphone!!!!!! and that if i wanted that would need to bolt on or something

i never have any luck--vodafone offering a better deal and thats just anyone
