  • Hello, I'd been looking at getting an iphone as my O2 contract is up. I called a couple of times to enquire about the refurbished phones and just been offered the following deal: 16GB 3G iPhone for 1p (!!) on an 18 month contract, with 600 mins and 500 texts, unlimited internet and WIFI with free landline calls @ £28 per month. I'm really pleased!! Even though it's not a 3GS, I can cope with the internet being a little bit slower and it not having a video camera!

Thanks to the peeps on this post for letting me know about refurbished iPhones!
:wink:Look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves!

I got one this morning but only a 16Gb 3G not a 3GS. 18 month deal on the £35 a month tariff but reduced to £30 for me. Handset was free.

I was a bit unsure about whether it was worth going for the 3G but it seems like it's pretty hard to get the 3GS refurb at the moment. I'll see how it runs and there's always the 14 day cooling off period if I think it's too slow!

didnt think there was a 16gb 3g??? anynore, was it not discontinued?

Its from O2, but last time it came up I think it didn't cover the iPhone ?

You need get a code and take it in store with a current pay slip (to prove you work for the NHS) and they'll give you the discount...

Hi All, new to forum yesterday, joined for info about deals on the iphone. As Jon says, for the NHS discount you have to get a code for NHS and take proof of employment to O2 shopm but the discount does cover iphone, the exception is the 3GS varient!, other models i.e. 3G are covered by discount!.
I was looking at the Tesco deal which i thought was quite good, anybody else looked at it, pros and cons?? tamuch for any info guys :)
  • If you get the iphone on 02 payg, after the 12 months free web and wifi is up it says it's £10 per month to keep the web and wifi. Does this mean £10 plus extra for any phone credit you would use? or just top up minimum £10 per month to keep web and wifi?
