yeah its o2. i did ask for a new one. they said that at the moment there is nothing they can do on a new one because ive been on a cheap contract the last 18 months. it might change in Feb, it might change it I ring someone else on another day too!
might see if i could get a reboxed 32gb one...
IBTP if you don't mind me asking but what was your previous contract before you upgraded to iphone? mine was a £25 a month reduced to £20.
What contract have you been on for the last 18 months? I was on the £35/month one already.0 -
I think I would like to get an iphone and am considering options. I am only a few months into a two year contract with Orange. I rang Orange and they said my only options were to buy myself out of my contract for £500, or buying an iphone outright. The price for an iphone from Orange is £440, from Amazon its £400, and I have seen some on ebay for £350.
According to Orange (thought I do not have full confidence in their advice), if I buy an iphone outright, I can simply put my current sim card into it and continue on my current contract.
Because I have been with Orange for some time, my current contract includes unlimited texts, 600 mins, and 500MB mobile internet browsing for £17 per month. In my simplistic mind it seems like a good deal if I can buy an iphone for about £400, and then simply insert my sim card and pay £17 per month.
Can I please have some advice as to whether this is a good idea, or if there are any other issues that I need to consider or be aware of before I board the iphone boat in this way? Also, any suggestions as to good deals to purchase iphones outright?
Many thanks for any and all advice.

Hi guys
I'm on a T-Mobile contract that still has a year to run but I want an iPhone. If I get a 12 month Tesco iphone on the most basic tarriff, could I then unlock it and use my t-mobile sim in it?0 -
Hi everyone...
Does anyone know what is happening with the iphone in Ireland (south)? I don't want to get if from O2.

Has anyone heard of any success stories with bartering with O2 hwen upgrading to an iPhone?
I am near the ned of an 18 month contract with O2, but have been with them for years! I would love an iPhone.... but would also love to lower my tariff.... or at the least not pay to upgrade to an iphone!! Will I get the best deal by bartering rather than going to another network?! Will they buy it if I say I would go elsewhere!
Cheers!0 -

How can i get discount on iphone 3g or 3gs ? i do not want to pay more then £30/month and use nearly 500 minutes every month.
I am using o2 broadband at home and my wife she is using o2 paymonthly from a long time, is there any way we can get loality discount or some thing. We rang o2 but operator just said NO.
