The £20 top up includes VAT
Make sure you opt out of the Gadget Show reply texts as they cost as well
That's really helpful, thanks a lot.
Is that top up for PAYG inclusive of VAT?
I should have been clearer as I was thinking of the £20 contract - does that include VAT.Be Pure, Be Vigilant, Behave!:A0 -

been offered 16gb 3GS for free. on the £35 tarrif for 18 months but reduced to £31 for the 18 months. only negative is that its a reboxed iphone. but apparently this means its a return that has been sent back to apple and had parts replaced then resealed and shipped back...

Hi, I'd like to get an iPhone and...
My three contract is just about up, I got my current phone in August 2008 with three, 1100 minutes or texts for £34 a month. The phone, a Nokia that was then state of the art with sat nav and a 2megapixel camera.
My partner has O2 simplicity 20 which is £20 a month for 600 minutes and 600 texts. It includes unlimited o2 to o2 and can be ended at a month's notice. Most of the free minutes my partner has is used on phoning me and she oftern
We used my partner's o2 contract to get the £5 a month discount on o2 broadband before christmas.
I've checked the comparison sites and it's not clear what the best deal is for us. It would be beneficial to have an unlimited number of calls to each other and preferably on o2 as we'll keep our broadband discount. However, we are willing to consider other networks if the saving outweighs the £5 a month saving on the broadband.
To complicate it further, I would like to have an iPhone but the impression the cheapest iPhone article gives me is it would still be prohibitively expensive. I want to be paying noticably less that £34 a month for my phone and I would like my partner to have more minutes to call her friends with.
What is the best deal in your opinion?
Ta,
