I'm thinking of going with the 16Gb 3Gs paying the £320 up front and then £20 per month.
It says the cost is £20 per month, but are there any extra costs?
Do you have to pay VAT on this at 17.5% which makes it £23.50?
If I enter a competition like Gadget Show (which I do), costing £1.50, is this included in my bill or is it an extra on top?
The one time I went on contract though Phones4U it should have been £20 per month but my bill usually ended up about £35 due to VAT & extras (though they had to repay a lot when I found they had secretly signed me up for the internet at £5 per month without telling me - and the phone wasn't internet capable anyway!).
Going with PAYG is only £60 more in total (only £18 if you have to pay VAT on the contract), and I wouldn't usually use more than the 300 mins or 600 texts in either case.
Can anyone enlighten me?Be Pure, Be Vigilant, Behave!:A0 -

The £20 top up includes VAT
If you phone/text a premium rate number then that will be outwith your allowance
Make sure you opt out of the Gadget Show reply texts as they cost as well
