I got my iPhone on T-Mobile just before Christmas.
I have used them for many years, and decided I wanted the iPhone. Of course, they don't promote its availability, so I called and said I wanted to take my number, and move to O2 or Orange.
They offered me the phone straight away, 35.00 per month, with an equivalent package to the O2 and Orange bundles, free 3Gs 16GB phone, no problem. All arranged on the phone with T-mobile, but the final part was through their iPhone partner chitter chatter. I spend around 125 - 150 per month with them, so I guess was worth keeping hold of.
All arrived, no problems. The guy from T-mobile did mention that they got away with this becasue they are the iPhone distributor for Germany, so effectivley import stocks from there.0 -

You wont find it on the internet. You have to go instore to the Tesco mobile section to arrange it. A pain, I know for those who like to do things online...!
Hi (this is my first post so go easy!;))
I am considering getting the iphone through tesco on pay monthly, I live in Northern Ireland though and there are no tesco mobile shops here. Could I order this on the phone does anyone know?
Thanks0 -
For the Tesco "Unlimited" web access on IPhone, has anyone seen what they consider fair usage per month?-
Congratulations to all who have got their PPI back!

Hi
I have just phoned up Tesco in Oldham who have a phone shop and managed to purchase the Iphone by telephone which was a great relief as it would have been a 30 mile around trip for me if it could only be purchased in the shop.
It took 20 minutes and will be here tomorrow:) any suggestions on how to break the news to Hubby  a beer or two for him tonight.....
Thanks Martin :money:more money spent as usualwhen I pop in everyday to see you....:p
So to recap the phone can be bought by phoning any tesco with a phone department, the guy on the phone at Oldham was lovely.....
Great deal so thanks to Martin :money:and everyone else who has posted.:T0 -
Which deal did you go for Siobhan? I'm thinking the 12 month one, 16gb 3GS! I also ended up phoning them to see if I could order it over the phone and they said no probs.
My contract with O2 is up in a few weeks and I don't know whether to wait until then before ringing them up to cancel and move to tesco ... hmmm decisions!0 -
Don't forget ....just to be clear...that I am meaning to go on the simplicity deal with o2 directly, NOT thru CPW.....or you will still be an o2 CPW customer!
Yep I got that bit.
Rang first thing this morn and explained to retentions lady my plan. As Im allowed to UG a month early I would need to leave with PAC next month. I rang again to find out how much to leave early as in now and the guy I spoke to said £44! He also added they could offer the 8gb FREE for £35pm 600min 500texts. I would have taken up that offer would the monthly charge of been £5 cheaper!0 -
Hi all, 1st post on the site but having read several pages on this thread I'd like some advice on buying an iPhone.
I've been with 02 since the Cellnet days (mid 90's) so my Sim in my phone is completely unmarked no logo but it's basically on 02 these days on PAYG.
As I would like lots of txts to 02 & calls to 02 friends, whats the best way to go for an upgrade to a 16gb 3Gs considering being a customer for as long as I had a phone !!
Thoughts appreciated.. ! Ta.0
