Just had a call from Vodafone telling me they don’t actually record all they're calls and the ones they do are just for training purposes. So big surprise they cant find the tape i requested of a customer service manager agreeing with me that they can put their 0870 call charges up to 1000 pound a minute and i still wouldn’t be allowed to cancel!. I provided them with all the information needed. The guys name, branch, times of the call etc. Vodafone are so dishonest, il never use them again and it just makes me more determined to cancel!0

whats the story, can you keep the handsets? Also is it possible to port your number to another network even when you are cancelling your contract? Thanks0

They apparently are required to record ALL calls (to do with national security and data protection) and keep these calls for minimum 6 months, even if they don't their system logs ALL access to customer accounts- who looked at it and when they looked at it.
They are able to recall when, where and who accessed your account- as usual they are being less than open and transparrent.
How do I know this?
My mate works in a Vodafone call centrebaldly going on...0 -
If you want to cancel your contract, simply make lots of 08xxx calls until yourr next bill...
it will be cheaper to do that than to see through the rest of your contract if you have a fair bit of time left to go.
The thanks button is here to the right. If you find a post saves you money, gives you useful information, or you agree with it, take a second to thank the poster!

You didn't answer my post #34 - which clauses refer to the call costs going up by >RPI? What you posted only mentions monthly charges AFAICS?0
