I am registered with these but they started again after a few weeks of stopping.I've just checked and they don't take complaints for silent calls, which is what these are. Thanks for your help anyway.....0 -

Hi all
Has anyone had a call from this number telling you (in American woman's accent- automated call) that you have won a prize?
My OH go one this am and hung up immediately. He then dialled 1471 and pressed dial button, put phone to his ear and realised the phone had not disconected when he hung up the first time and that he was being instructed to dial 1 ( which he had just done by dialling 1471). He hung up again and spoke to phone provider -talk talk, who said number is unrecognisable and it will be a couple of days before they know what the charge might be.
Anyone else been caught out with this and do you know how much this scam costs????0 -
