  • PLEASE IGNORE THIS - I STARTED A THREAD BECAUSE THOUGHT THIS ONE DIDN'T WORK.
Hi All, first time post but i'm looking from some help with regard to company using 0121 273 3761 and I notice some of you have had calls from them too.
I had a call yesterday - again, non-english accent asking for me, then asked abruptly asking if I had a mortgage. I replied with my normal response - please remove my details from your system, he repeated his question and I repeated my response on the third time he slowly responded 'just answer the question you f****ing b**ch. Extremely shocked i told him to remove my details and never to phone my number again. He then told me to "go to H**l you F****ing w***e. As you can imagine I am absolutely livid and want to pursue it to get that guy sacked - I've already complained to TPS but never having complained to them before i'm unsure how that works. To be given that type of abuse in my own home by someone who has at least my name and address, who knows what other personal details is unreal and I can't just let it go - does anyone have any ideas on how to proceed, i'd really appreciate any help !!!!

Just let it go, contact your telephony provider & ask for a block to put on that number/company.

The trouble you'd go through chasing the advisor & then getting complaints raised is probably worth more effort/stress/cost than just turning a blind eye & putting it down as an experience :)
  • what goes around comes around. look up the number, find the address and kick his !!!!!!! head in!

  • Report this to the police - a criminal offence has been committed. It's possible other people are on the receiving end of malicious communications such as this. The number is UK based, even though it seems the caller may have been located abroad, so whoever is responsible for that phone number may have some explaining to do.

  • I did think about reporting it to the police but I didn't think they would be able to do anything so worried I would be just wasting their time...... my main worry is if like you say other people are also getting this type of abuse, keep imagining them phoning mine or someone else's mam!! I'll think about but possibly will report it.......

Report them to the Malicious/Nuisance Calls Bureau.

  • Hi,

you would think if they are going to be obnoxious they would block their number, should be easy to trace them.
