We too have a complaint about this company, and have been following this thread, our story, Wer're sure, no worse than anyone else, but if anyone can post the email addresses for liqiudators, watchdog, Leicester police, leicester newpapers, customer advice etc, We'll only be too happy to add to their work load!!! Wer're disgusted with what we have read and if anyone is interested, we placed an order on 21st July, money taken on 22nd July and we had a major arguement with managers on 20th August. Will be happy to post email showing thread with them .. some new names mentioned from those posted in previous threads ... not that we think it will help matters, but may just prove what liars they are, we would like to evidence they have debts way beyond that of two years trading and yet have a lifestyle beyond their earnings.. it can be done I'm sure. We have lost nothing compared to many of you guys, (Maestro) and I have been told by NatWest ... "no can do" ... despite the fact that they were keen to AND to provide us with a replacement Visa/Debit card, which arrived today... telling us that they recognise, but will not publicly acknowledge they are aware of problems with people paying up front. So in short, WE are WITH YOU GUYS and will do whatever we can to outwit and make these cowboys pay for their fraudulent activities, we do not use the term lightly, but, keep posting your findings and we shall keep digging where I can to bring about justice where it is deserved.

Cheers. Has everyone else decided to give up? There dooesn't seem to be the activity there was at the beginning of this thread and I'm worried that most people have simply resigned themselves to defeat?

ASI Properties Ltd are the company based at this address and say they have never heard of Furniture Deal Co.Ltd.

I gather they must be quite succesful as they wont be interested in the £42,000 that the furnituredeal accounts from the meeting list as owed to them !!! I wonder if that is an insured debt too ?

I seriously think there are many overlaps between different companies and hope that a fraud team are able to go over these accounts and have enough information to get the justice we deserve.
  • I wont resign until I have got my money back. Currently I have contacted my bank but I have a feeling that they are playing silly as I havent heard from them over the last 8 days.
I would like to hear from people who have received a refund by chargeback scheme. If that doesn't work I am willing to take a legal action about this firm. Cheers

    Hi all.

I paid by VISA debit card and I posted to my bank with all email history.
after 2 weeks, now I have received all my money back from Lloyds TSB.
but Bank said If they (FD) will refund you by themselves or if they approve the transaction is valid then The bank will re-debit money etc..

I am quite happy at the moment. I really hope everyone get refund back successfully!
  • i've kind of started to feel like giving up because every orgaisation etc i have contacted has been rather unhelpful I feel, and i just cant see a way of getting my money back...HSBC have been extremely unsupportive and unhelpful, trading standards havent been so great, and when I rang the police up they just fobbed me off saying that it was most likely going to end up as a civil matter etc....I have just lost all faith
  • Hello All,
I am still fighting this, just havent been around as (lucky for me!!) my job took me to Vegas for 4 days, where I most certainly drowned my sorrows. Back home now and time to soldier on.
Recieved letter from my bank today (Co-op) asking for more proof.
They want a purchase agreement and proof of liquidation. Sounds promising, but not holding ones breath. In truth I have now written the money off.
Just about to view the PKF report.
