hatton when i spoke to hsbc the lady said that even if they have taken my money fraudulently i still cant get it back as the company has gone in to liquidation, so if they tell you something different let me know and i will ring them back thanks

Are you trying to find the manufacturer of what you ordered? What did you actually try and buy? I ordered a dining room table with six chairs. I know that there is only one manufacturer in UK that produce my table and they have been really helpful, even told me that if I wanted they would speak to the police, to tell them that they did deal with furniture deal but since I payed my money to FD the manufacturers had not received an order from FD, therefore this is fraud, because have taken my money with no intention of supplying. I must admit the bank not been to helpful in the end I spoke to a manager threatening to close my accounts with them if they didn't try and help.

Mohammed - yes I got my money back. After many online chats and getting nowhere with 'James' and Carol', and being told that I could go to their leicester store in person to get my refund. In the end I didn't have to go to the store but did phone them constantly every day at around 9.15am, as this seemed to be the only time I could get through on the store phone. I spoke to the manager and I got a full refund of £370 the following day. It did take a month or so get it.

I'm sorry to say Trading Standards were useless and I had to go it alone. Perhaps it might be worth everyone emailing the BBC Watchdog site and see what they can do.

I contacted PKF, i sent an email to them on Monday night so they would have it first thing Tuesday Morning i told them that if i do not hear from them by Wednesday night at close of business, i would send the letters i had drafted up to Trading Standards, Rogue Traders, The Fraud Squad, Watchdog, Custom and Excise and the Immigration Security,
So these letters are now on the way, the above named are expecting them as i telephoned them well beforehand to ask their advice on this first, so i will see what the outcome is.

I thought they were just a neutral firm that had been called in to dissolve the company and can't help us in anyway.

1, Can't make the meeting tomorrow. Lucky for the director and myself, as I would most certainly be held in a Leicester police cell for court on Friday morning with little or no chance of bail.

2, A Huroon, Asif Mohammed, Ali Mohammed or whatever name you would like to go by, you have no idea who you have stolen from, you simply have no idea you will pay one way or another.

3, Does anyone have a scanner and a copy of the article in the paper regarding Furnituredeal or know where this may be online?

4, Is anyone attending tomorrows meeting? Can you post back how it went and what he has to say for himself.

I would really love to attend, unfortunately I'm right in the middle of renovating and have a lot to do tomorrow & cant take time out to do an 800+ mile round trip.

Hi Guys not sure how common these names are but it seems a bit of a coincidence that Huroon Mohammed is on the Companies House disqualified director register. This one has an address in London and was born in 1967, does anybody know how old our Asif Mohammed is? Where did the Huroon name come from anyway?
