I should think most of those houses are worth double what their depts are.
Isn't their a solicitor in this forum who can tell us the chances of them having their houses seized to pay back the debts if it is proved that they took the orders without any intention of delivering?0 -
tim....i'm no solicitor but i'm sure that If the business is a limited company then their properties, cars etc cannot be touched therefore these crooks were clever and they set this business up as a liitedm company deliberately as they knew that their own assets would remain safe.
Hatton annd Mohammed Akib....I need to agree with the pair of you, HSBC have been useless and unsupportive, i cant see them helping me get my money back....they sent me a letter saying that as I paid by maestro I will not be covered .I'm really annoyed as I have been banking with them for over 20 yrs and i'm only 26 now! Rubbish service from HSBC i'm sorry to say.0 -

I know about the Limited status protection. However I think that doesn't allways apply if the directors have committed fraud. I think there are some occasions where their assets can be seized.0 -
If thats the case then I think we should all get in touch with the relevant peopleand see if they can do anything. Thinking about it now, a friend of mine told me that there was a family in the town where she lives and they kept opeing up shops, only to bankrupt themselves deliberately each time, and that they lived in a mansion...anyway , they ended up getting caught out eventually, and everything was taken from them, and they are now living in a bedsit in an area where they rather wouldnt be, so if we can do smething to prove to the relevant people that these guys are fraudsters, then lets do it...anyone got any suggestions?0

Don't know much about these things, but this would be fantastic if we could get some advise on this, they don't deserve to keep the things they got when we have all lost our hard earned money. They need to pay one way or another.0 -
