I am still fighting this, just havent been around as (lucky for me!!) my job took me to Vegas for 4 days, where I most certainly drowned my sorrows. Back home now and time to soldier on.
Recieved letter from my bank today (Co-op) asking for more proof.
They want a purchase agreement and proof of liquidation. Sounds promising, but not holding ones breath. In truth I have now written the money off.
Just about to view the PKF report.
Dolly, can you post the link to the report? SuzieB gave it to me in words form, but I'm having trouble getting tinto it.0 -
atleast visa chargeback hsa worked for someone, i bank with hsbc and paid by solo debit, so it looks like its curtains for me, i will not give up though, 1300 pounds i paid!! i will continue to fight and keep telling my bank its fraud, encourage all hsbc bankers to do the same.
i will make officail complaint tommorow, and i have been in touch with the financial ombudsmen, has anyone else? he may be able to help, try him. but i am fighting, i may be able to hold my bank liable as i had two cards active at the same time, agin its a very long shot...
HSBC are useless, i will ring again tomorrow, is it this easy to commit fraud?0 -
I wont resign until I have got my money back. Currently I have contacted my bank but I have a feeling that they are playing silly as I havent heard from them over the last 8 days.
I would like to hear from people who have received a refund by chargeback scheme. If that doesn't work I am willing to take a legal action about this firm. Cheers
i think someone with the knowledge needs to take them to court, and i will happily back you up in that, need to go find this guy!!0 -
I'm not giving up yet, I must say HSBC not very good bankers, not helpful at all, I am still fighting with them, I have put a dispute in for fraud, however they have not got back to me and have rang again today and have been told they have just started the investigation, however don't know where I stand regards FD gone into liquidation. Will ring HSBC again tomorrow and I will let you know how I get on.0

Very detailed report. Can't really get more proof than that. Fingers crossed that my bank thinks so too.
Good luck to everyone.0 -
I won't give up, even when I get my money back. I'm going to ensure this director and all the other employees & family members that are responsible, rot in jail.0

I've had a look at the report ,lots of scary numbers going on there. But it does not say where the customers money has gone just a poor bank balance at the end of each month.0

I see in one of your earlier threads that you actually ordered your furniture on the 3rd September. That was the same day that Asif Mohamed sought advice from PKF and ceased trading on the 4th. He must have known that he was unable to fulfil your order on the 3rd!!
Have you had the pack from PKF entiled "to all known customers" that we received today? In it the Liquidator does say "I shall be pleased to receive from any customers any useful information concerning the company, its dealings or conduct which may assist me in my investigation into the company's affairs." I think you should tell them that he took your order when he knew he wasn't able to fulfil it as he was going to cease trading the next day.
Good luck!0
