Must admit I am struggling with this one, the suppliers name is MCS Italian furniture and it seems to come direct from Italy but i am struggling to find contact details for them, will keep trying and will let you know0 -

if it does take 8 weeks for a company to become insolvent, then this means they applied 8 weeks before the 10th of sept, however i am not sure of this and i need omeone to shed some light on this, if this is true then that means they were accepting payments after applying for insolvency, therefore knowing they cannot supply.
Help!!
Thanks for that, I had no idea. That could really hekp us. I will email PKF once children are in bed and ask when FD plan to become insolvent are if they are already. Either way if anyone else knows how to access this info then we'd be greatly appreciated.
Another question if anyone knows the answer. If a company is insolvent then how can Visa chargeback if there are no funds in the merchants bank?0 -
I Have emailed PKF at the address given on this thread
fumituredeal.dms_live©dms.uk.pkrcom.
Don't hold out much hope though as I can see two typos already, so changed it to this
[EMAIL="furnituredeal.dms_live@dms.uk.pkrcom"]furnituredeal[/email].dms_live@dms.uk.pkrcom.
Not sure about the end of the addy though (pkrcom).
Anyway have sent it asking when they applied for insolvency.0 -
Sanewwbs - you will probably find that your recorded delivery letter will get returned, mine did. The reason they gave was that they don't allow/have incoming mail ??!!!
I just kept on the phone - never ever ever again.
Edit - something I just thought of. I asked if I could come down to the leicester address to get my refund form the store and they said that would be ok. I didn't have to in the end as I got it by speaking to the owner Mr Mohammed. But at least a store visit could be another option for some.TopCashback £1792.63My Little World0 -

PKRCOM is not a valid TLD (top level domain, eg. .uk .com .net .tv .org etc. ) So that email address is definitely not valid, it would never get delivered. Also, if it were simply a mistype, missing the period between pkr and com then it would in fact be a PKR[dot]COM address which is a well known online poker site.
I understand that the liquidators are PKF Accountancy who happen to have an office in Leicester - see www[dot]pkf[dot]co[dot]uk/pkf/office_locator/home
and to back this up the creditors letter I received directed me to email them at:
[EMAIL="furnturedeal.dms_live@dms.uk.pkf.com"]furnturedeal.dms_live@dms.uk.pkf.com[/EMAIL]. PKF do appear to be an international company. See www[dot]pkf[dot]com.
I would advise contacting them,
Cheers
(Sorry for the confusing links, I still can't post proper URL's because of the forum rules)0 -
Hi,
I contacted PKF at the Leicester office but they asked that all further correspondance and queries be addressed to the email addy provided in the letter which is the one above!!!!!!!
I shall email them back and say the one they have provided is not valid.0 -
