Great news, Tony.
• Is anyone going to this meeting on the 24th? If they are perhaps they can act as proxy for those of us who can't be there. More power perhaps that way, and we will at least get to hear truthfully from them what goes on.
• Like most of you I'm not giving up on this. I paid by maestro debit card and after a couple of meeting with the bank, doesn't look like I will get a refund.

I now too, want to prove if the item i ordered over the internet was something they actually could get from the suppliers. I ordered the following: Capri White Antique Waxed 2 Door 2 Drawer Wardrobe CP260 and draws to go with this. I have searched but can't seem to find the supplier.....Anyone have tips on how i can track the supplier down?

My local trading standards have been in touch this morning. I have writen a letter in response......so hoping an investigation will take place. I think everyone involved needs to keep on at Trading Standards so they take it seriously.

Keep up the good work.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as I understand it you can obtain a full list of creditors. Then all you have to do is call each supplier on the list.
• Hi. I bought a bed over the phone from furnituredeal.co.uk on 29th July. They guaranteed it be delivered in 5-10 days as posted on the website. I contacted them and on more than 3 occasions they gave me different guaranteed delivery dates. After calling them to arrange a full refund as i was getting very very frustrated, i was told to call someone else in accounts. After not getting through for days, i eventually did and they said that the accountant would be in only on Saturdays and my money would be back in my account on the 5th of September. Obviously this didn't happen and i received the 'liquidation notice' on the 9th.

I ordered a Charon Black Brass 5ft King Size metal bed frame x 1 @ £266:99 and paid via my Visa debit card.

I cannot make the meeting in Leicester but my mum is willing to go if we can all join forces and get our money back!!

This forum has been a fantastic help and all of your info and support is great!! I will be going back to my bank armed with the chargeback information. Anyone else going to the meeting, please let me know

Thank all

Yes that is if they are even on their list! Plus their list of suppliers has got to be many pages long

Thanks anyway
• hi all,

bedsplanet.co.uk is another site that trades from leicester, it seems the chap who replied to my email is aijaz shaikh, earlier in this forum a email was posted by a member who has a reply from a sam shaikh, is there a link there.. are they playing the scam again?

Were these guys a registered company? and have pkf really taken control?
pkf's web address is pkf.co.uk, and surely their email address should end pkf.co.uk?

i recieved an email from someone claiming to be from pkf, their email ends uk.pkf.com and she told me to send enquiries to furnituredeal.dms_live@dms.uk.pkf.com. it's all a bit wierd as someone i know has told me that pkf's emails will end '@pkf.co.uk'. Should i phone pkf and get more info?

also when i rang the number on the website the person who spoke to me sent the pdf file with the proxy form via email, it came from furniture_deal_uk@yahoo.co.uk) i thought they cannot send emails...

thanks for your help.

A list of creditors may be inspected free of charge between 10am and 4pm at Pannell House on the 2 days preceding the meeting (the letter states this). Not sure how to get hold of it otherwise. I have emailed PKF to ask for supplier details but I'm not expecting them to tell me.

I'd be willing to phone pages of suppliers if it came to it. I'm not going to give up easily.
