I think we should give it a try. I'm sure they'll try to brush us off but if there are enough of us we might be able to stir things a bit.
I used my natwest account for my 'purchase' and when I went to see them they were nice, but totally unhelpful.0 -
I ordered some morris furniture from these thieves on 12th July.
Had 2 delivery dates that went by. Emaild them each time and then found they had gone bust.
Contacted Morris Furniture, they said that Furniture deal had been in arears and no good could be released to them.
Paid with Visa debit card so i stand to get my £380 back but I am not holding my breath.
A guy in Loughborough went to Lisle St and spoke to someone who said he was the new owner and had bought the company from Furniture deals.
contacted Watchdog.0 -

This is definately fraud because they took your money with no intention to supply, if they were in arrears with Morris Furniture they knew fully well that they would never be able to order your furniture.0 -
Can anyone send me a copy of the email and scan letter (if not the same as the email)? I have just been onto them again this morning asking what the situation is, due to having no communication from them.
Same as me Craig. Since taking my money I have had zero communication. On advice from Ronnie, I am contacting PKF independantly. Not because I think they can reimburse me but more for proof should I have to fight for my money.0 -
Just had an email from UKdata who I have subscribed to, to watch the business activities of FD.
The report shows that bankruptcy was declared today after changing the registration address several times over the last week.0 -
Anyone have any idea what on earth to do now? They've definitely gone under and are uncontactable. I payed by Mastercard and am looking at whether I had some sort of protection against this or not, which I doubt. £300 easily lost!0

Does anyone have any idea how I can find out who their supplier would have been for the beds I had ordered from them? I've phoned one supplier of the beds I ordered who didn't supply them. Does anyone know who their suppliers were?
If you can find out the name of the bed and maybe a picture I could source it for you, although I doubt they will sell direct to the public, but I can find out who sells them in your area0 -

Hi there, I just contacted my credit card company to commence a refund process and it'd be very useful if you could send me the email you received from UKdata, is there any means through which you could kindly send this to me? Any help is appreciated.0 -
Have asked Morris furniture if they had informed Furnituredeals about not releasing goods to them before they took my money.
Morris also informed me that they told Furnituredeals to remove the Morris images from their web site of which they did but then brought them back on their site.
Morris are checking with their credit department and will come back to me.0 -
now looks like they are bust, but what about our money, who is going to this meeting next week, i cannot as work wont give time off, anyone?
its all a big scam.0
