Thats what i've been wondering...i'm sure they have pretended to be under liquidation just so they dont have to send us the furniture and in a few weeks they will be online again saying they are under new management and they will do the same trick again in a year or so....I 'm thinking we should try and take them to court or something, we should try anything and everything....I really hope they dont get away with this, fingers crossed0

I agree Dolly.
There are too many un-answered questions. When someone actually visited the showroom, someone stated they were from the liquidaters but would not give the name of the company he worked for.
People have also been told that it is only the internet side that has been liquidated!! HHHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM Yeah right the words Rat & Smell come to mind.:smileyhea0 -
Sammy I would be there at the fromt if ever it went that far, They need their fingers chopped off.:smileyhea0

I have checked with Insolvency Services on 0845 602 9848, they said they should know within the next week if they have gone into liquidation.
I really can't understand how companies get away with doing this.0 -
Here is an update for you , i have just checked the , The Companies Register, so here goes,
06352628 Furniture Deals .co.UK
06581865 Furniture Deliveries
These are the same company under two different names and both pending on the register.
040866 Furniture Delivery Installations Ltd formed C of N 30-11-2000
04074798 Furniture Delivery Installation Ltd. Dissolved 20-04-2004
Now comes the nasty one under Bankruptcy Laws a Bankrupt can not open up a business in his name within 2 years, so he is using someone else's name as a Director of the Company
And the NEW name is,

Sorry folks but it is true.

The only way to find out is to do checks with Companies House and Credit Gate. You can find reports on the directors, but you may have to pay for them.
As far as giving them the benefit of the doubt, there are loads of companies going into liquidation during this recession. For each one of these there will be loads of customers who feel that they have been scammed. So until you have reports in your hands, you shouldn't jump to conclusions (although it is understanable when you are angry).
Also don't let this put you off all on line retailers. There are companies going bust in all sectors of business, and there are some who will ride the recession out.0 -

Are they the same directors?0 -
They do not give the name of the Directors they only give the Company name and what is going on. if you pay you will get the name of the Directors and more details.

Yes, that's what I said two posts ago.
If you have lost loads of money then it may be worth paying a few pounds for the report.0
