Thank you MoscowFlyer. We are "tied in" until August 2010 but I am happy to take them to court over this if necessary.also known as The Sausage King0 -
I have to do this but I've got a headache reading this thread!
Am I right in summarising that if you took out the contract after Sep/Oct 07 you probably won't be able to cancel?
If not can someone point me to a page on this thread with a recommended for of words for a letter to 3?
Many thanks0 -

We upgraded in June but no one mentioned the new charges until now so I don't see why we can't...also known as The Sausage King0 -

To be honest, it gets a bit confusing for me really since 3's reactions have been somewhat random.
Many people claim to have cancelled - i don't doubt they have - but they helpfully forget to tell us what contract they were on and when it started
Some have claimed they cancelled mix and match contracts taken after october 07, even though three told me that taking a mix and match contract means accepting per minute billing since mix and match has always been per minute billing.
nobody, as yet, has come up with a hard and fast method of cancelling anything after october 07, so your best bet is to just write a letter and hope for the best, but be fully prepared to be told you can't.0 -
I managed to cancel on the DD charge clause.
I joined 3 in November 2006 on VTT700, then upgraded in March to Mixnmatch 300.0 -
Could you give us some more details on how exactly you went about this please?billbennett wrote: »I managed to cancel on the DD charge clause.

still no letter about any charges from three - the per minute will not apply to me, so do they have until september the 20th to send me a letter regarding the itemised billing charges? what do i do in the circumstance that i haven't recieved the letter and start getting charged?0

What everyone else charges for payment by something other that DD is irrelevant... you signed up for a 3 contract knowing that you could pay any way you like, without being penilised. You could probablt just say that you now want to pay by e.g. standing order, and therefore this is a detrimental varation of the contract for you!
They'll probably just feed you some BS back though, they won't give in lightly!0 -
