He wasnt originally on Mix and match though , he says he was on VTT, he changed to Mix and Match as part of a deal to stay.0 -
ahh now that makes more sense0

Well I am still arguing they never advised me of the change to the Price Guide last October, therefore breaking our legally binding agreement.
I have been to told write a letter to Kevin Russel and it will be read in the UK, rather than being faxed to India.
We'll see...0 -
I wrote to K Russell and it was the exec office in Scotland that replied, so it should def be dealt with over here.0

I wrote to kevin russell first, and the executive office rang me because of the letter - russell never deals with them directly.
that's when they told me that upgrading to M&M meant I knew that it was per-minute billing and because i'd done that, i couldn't cancel.
I wouldn't waste a letter to be honest - OTELO advised me to write to a fella called James Harkin at the same address.
That's why i've written to him to argue that 3's decision to roll out per-minute billing without telling it's customers put them in an unfair position and prevented them from making an informed choice about wether or not they wanted to stay with 3.0 -

Everything with 3 seems to be a waste of my time...
But they have broken there agreement with me, so someone must be able to sort this...0 -

I am going to call 333 and say I want to cancel contract and move phone to PAYG (only due to issues unlocking 3 phones and would keep phone useable for daughter) unless they offer what I want....if they can't offer that then I will insist on cancellation and order the C902 on new contract thro quidco. Is a pest having different number but would use unlimited texts to inform everyone.
Thanks for reply kidcat.
Doesn't look like it's an offer that ends this weekend to me, just looks like a standard offer - what they refer to as a 'Top Deal'.
If you want to get out, don't forget you only have one month from the date of their letter (5 August 2008), so give 'em a ring tomorrow.
Be clear that you want to end the contract early due to per minute billing and the contract was taken out before October 07 - that seems to be the way things are going at the moment.0 -

I was on vtt700 before and vtt500 after upgrade too. Still no reply to the letter or last email I sent0 -
by the sounds of it you should be able to cancel then - you'll have to kick and scream but they should let you. They told me that VT&T went per-minute this April so I would say you'll be ok.
Just curse that I can't cancel .. :mad:0
