Why are they giving some people an opt out but not others?Self Employed, Running my Dream Jobs0

Think it depends on the individual staff member you talk to. Its possibly worth calling over and over again until you get an "easier" member of staff.0

Hi all, I've just spent an hour on the phone to 3 CS, first person I got through to tried to tell me I'd have to pay a cancellation fee and after reading out the T&C's he tried to get me to upgrade instead. He passed me to Customer Options where I was offered their M&M 700 tariff with a new handset (so exactly what's on offer on the website, no discount or anything) and a few other tariffs that don't sound as if I'd really be getting a good deal. She did say however that I COULD cancel due to the 1 minute billing. Now I've just got to decide what to do, I'll take a look at the 3 retentions thread and see if it'll be worth hanging on for a couple of weeks and just upgrading because I'm almost on month 15. I'm on the £15 texter plan just incase that matters!0

Do not sent to the Executive office. I have just rec'd a reply that they only respond to Regulatory Bodies and raised by " board members". Looks like they will be getting a lot of work soon from The Regulatory Bodies!Self Employed, Running my Dream Jobs0

I'm a bit confused now, I called 3 back this afternoon to either get a good deal or give them my 30 days notice and I've been told that I won't be affected by the changes, and that some people have had the letter by mistake and they are trying to contact some people to let them know. Now I don't believe what I've been told, but I have the womans name incase there's a problem. Has anyone else been told this? And does anyone know why some people are apparently affected and some not?0

This may all be tactics.
You only have a month from them informing you of the increase if you want to cancel wiyhout paying a termination fee.
They have managed to put you off cancelling for a few days already!0 -

Thats what they told me, but I really do not believe them, thats why I wrote to the executive office, I included in my cancellation email that I was aggrieved at the staff members attitude to me, at least that way if they tell me I cannot cancel because it doesnt apply to me and then they charge me per min, I will have it in writing. I did record the conversation to use as well.0
