. :o I've been looking for one of my bills but I think I've already shredded them. Doh!

My billing date is tomorrow so I should get a bill through soon & I'll be able to double check.

I'd also like to know if anyone has cancelled due to the itemised billing charge!

YOu can look at your bills online if you register for my3 that should help you look at your minutes etc.:D

Just had a call from three. I was advised that term 10.1 applies ONLY to 1 month BEFORE my contract is due to end! I advised it does not state this. I now need to take this further!

    I called them this morning.

I was put straight through to cancelations, but I was then given one excuse after the other.

The upshot is that I have to write to Three in Glasgow explaining I want to cancel my contract.

I am told as I have only renewed my contract within the last three months there will be a charge, he said this counts as part of the rule 10.1

I said having read it, it does not mention any charges to cancel, only that I have the right to cancel if Three make changes that cost me money.

I will prepare a letter tomorrow and see how I get on.

I have posted a letter to 3 Glasgow recorded delivery. I will wait to see how I get on. Anyone know what will happen if I just cancel my direct debit ?
  • Does anyone know which specific price plans are affected by the new 'calls rounded up to minute' rule? Im on talk and text 600 and called them regarding this, they said it dont apply to my price plan. Also mentioned the itemised billing charge issue but they said it's not sufficient grounds to cancel.

I'm trying to cancel my contract but 3 have told me that as my contract was taken out after October 2007 I can't because the 1 minute call charge was already planned.

The one minute call charge is mentioned in 3's current price guide (see footnote 15 in the link below).

On the first page it clearly says it's the 2008 price guide and so I assume it can't have been published when I took out my contract in December 2007. Does anyone have the 2007 guide? If so does it mention 1 minute billing?

I have just e-mailed the judge at the sunday mail as obviously 3 are at it. I had 312 calls lasting 3 seconds last month which will now cost me dear. I was not told about any promotional guide stating that calls would be rounded up to a minute after 23rd September. Lets hope the judge replys to get this sorted.

I'm on Direct Text 950 and emailed in last week about this, despite not even having a letter. Guy phoned me earlier and said that I would have to pay rest of my contract out. I had upgraded to a 12 month contract in January. I said that when I upgraded nobody mentioned that the terms had changed, I just said "carry on for a further 12 months"

He put me on hold and over to cancellations. 38 minutes later they answered. Spoke to very argumentative indian guy who said all networks are the same. I said "I don't care, I just want my PAC code".

I said if I made 10 x 6 second calls at the moment it would use up 1 minute of my allowance. When new rules come it iw ould mean 10 minutes off my allowance. Very detrimental I said.

Put me on hold. I wasn't expecting any good news at this point.

Comes back, suryl voice "Your PAC code will be with you within 12 hours, goodbye"

RESULT!!!, 15 minutes later and PAC code has just arrived via text.

    iPhone here I come.
