gaahamed: Unfortunetly for you, due to having ED50, Orange makes no money from you and that way makes the price of handsets much dearer; so you will ahve to pay alot for the phone you want.

Both of those hadsets are for customers on £25 a month or more, and your ED50 will be £15 a month. I would haggle a little, or try and get the price down; but it will be difficult. Sorry.

thanks for offering your knowledge. i have a SE K500i on OVP100 contract through an internet company with cash back offer. Its due to end soon. My monthly bill is a few pounds above the line rental. Am i best to ring up and see what they can offer me to continue another year or to simply cancel it and reapply ending with a new phone?

any good deals on SE p910? Are they reliable?

    thanks in advance
Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems :( Well at least i learn something on the way :D

The P910 still sells well, but as your probably know its more than just a phone.

On the highest tariff they are still £19.99 on a new contract so on your OVP of about £18; you'll be spending just a tad over around £20; they will make you pay alot for it.

This is due to you being part of an OVP; from what Ive heard they prefer customers on the Orange Your Plan Tarriff's so getting a P910 will be hard on that tarriff unfortunately.

Friend in work uses it every day; so 6 hours a day gets heavy use and never had a problem in the 9 months or so he's being using it, so yeah reliable enough.

was planning to go for p910 on oranges own tarrif. the internet shop was offering cashback deal only on ovp tarrif for k500i.

i have se p800 which i cant live without. never thought it would be so useful. pity about the bulky size.

it is just that i have seen o2 network offering free p910 on lower tarrifs

  • Am having great trouble registering for online billing. Am on OVP voda 200 so Orange want to charge for itemised paper bills. Each time I try and register online I cannot as says "experiencing technical diffulties- please try later". Technical help, on 473 I think , is 50p a minute. Any suggestions please?

wazza: Im sure o2 do it free on £19 a month, or maybe £25 but it is much better value than that of anything Orage can offer unfortunately.

Yeah, bulky but does alot. But, the P990i is comign soon; probably after Christmas; so that maybe driving price of P910i down

bargainhunter: Are you just trying to view bill on the Orange site? I ported my number from 02 and due to this it wouldnt accept my number, so I had to phone up and ge this done manually.

Even though your on OVP you should still have access to CS; couldnt you try the site that has the 0800 number of other phone numbers, to try and get a free number if cant use 150.

Also, Dialling 07973100150 from a landline will contact CS for the price of a local call, try that with 473.
  • Thanks for the advice. Can call 150 but they say cannot transfer me to 473- is that true?. Also how did you "so I had to phone up and get this done manually"

I phoned up 150 and spoke a kind lady in billing, she passed me through to 156 (wirefree) and they set up my account, as the script on the web page wasnt my number as an Orange Number, as it has an O2 prefix
