No, he is comfortable with what he has, ie 500 X net mins, ( so he can phone us), unlimited texts. The magic number was a bonus as he didn't know about these. He just thought it would be ideal for us. My wife has often said she "ought" to have a mobile, even though we have the landline, so to get her a PAYG, would achieve two things, she'd have a phone and they could talk unrestricted.

Mine is with V, and I have "stop the clock". Incidently, I had the raza with excellent speakerphone but the battery was poor, so I've swapped my sim card back to my S/E which has a weeks battery life, but poor speakerphone.

The ORange Nokia N95 12 month contract for £35 per month ended on Sunday.

IS there any way I can get this even though it closed? Called on Tuesday and they refused.

Do they match offers from sites like Dialaphone, e2save etc?

hi i am an international student and a week ago this carphone warehouse salesman gave me a contract phone under orange without completing any credit check; infact when i entered my card in the system it kept saying further proofs required.. now i have an n95 on an 18 month contract which i was quite happy with... but in the last few days my situation ha changed and i have had to return home and will not be comming back to the uk... how do i cancel my contract?? i mailed orange and they said that i cant cancel the contract.. the phone is still in as new condition, still boxed.. please advise as to what exactly i can do a i will not be using a single minute.. infact i had to leave in such a rush that i didnt even have time to register the sim card or anything and the phone was not even activatived for use.. thanks a lot

there is a problem with that; i took the phone out exactly 14 days ago... but as soon as i came back home i mailed carphone warehouse and told them my situation and asked them how i could cancel the contract and where exactly i should send the phone.. i never got any reply from them.. i even mailed orange and they replied saying that we dont cancel our contracts.. surely if i am leaving the country and they cant provide me the services they have promised i must be having some kind of a legal right to cancel my contract??? i really dont know what to do now.. i know a few international students who have taken their contracts phones with them back home with no intention of making any payments and keeping the phone.. i really dont want to do this and mess up my credit history.. please advise.. is there anything else that i can stilll do??
