I'm an orange customer on direct 300- 300mins / 100 texts for £30 but bills are in excess of £50 so I want to change talk plan
I rang orange today to upgrade to an animal plan and subscribe to broadband. They say my contract (18 months) doesn't expire til Sept and I'll have to wait. Only option to chage is to pay £25 for 100 mins but no texts!!Then the guy said I should phone back in June. After some more discussion he said I'm a 'band 5 user' and the team leader would probably authorise an 'early' upgrade in May but I'll have to wait.
Should I push it? Are they likely to give in and let me upgrade now?
I've been with orange for years and am keen to keep my number.0 -
well id say May at the earliest hang on in there its only 6 weeks !4 months early is generous from any network, keep the next bill up £50 as you will be upgraded on your last 6 months usageSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0

but like i said in another post we got an animal in month 7 out of 12, they can do it, your the highest band customer so if theyll do it for anyone they will do it for you
the only thing i would say was my mums bills were at least £40 over line rental where as yours is less i dont know if they look at that over the phone or just consider the banding
only problem we had was orange turned around after and said the 18m talk plan had never been put on (i rang and checked before the 7 days to return the phone) i argued it out and they did put it on afterwardsYes Your Dukeiness0 -

Is there a number to ring billing directly? My daughter has received a letter from debt collectors (no bill from orange) saying she owes £522. This has come as a shock as we thought the account was cancelled. The biggest frustration is holding on the phone for hours and being unable to speak to anyone who can help!0

Posted this earlier on mobile thread but just saw this one. Does anyone know why I can't get my free Orange Wednesday text tickets any more through my mobile. Admittedly I only use it for this but there is a little bit of credit on the phone and Ive sent 4 or 5 text messages plus made 4 calls to 241 and each time they say i will receive a text ticket but I dont. this has happened the past 3 weeks now? ANy ideas. Thanks0

I have a question about the free Broadband with Orange contracts over £30. If i started a contract but was unable to make use of the free broadband until, say month 3, can I set it up then? I asked in an Orange shop and the trainee guy said that I would have to restart my contract when i wanted to activate the broadband. I wasn't sure if that's correct.
Surely if they're offering me free broadband for 18months, but i can only use it for the last 15 months it shouldn't be a problem
Any help most appreciated. Thanks.0
