Is anyone wary of people calling up saying they are from VM and asking for characters from password etc?
I had a call 2 nights in a row from VM saying something about offering me special offers, foreign sounding guy.
I have not called to cancel or anything (yet) only went on 'chat' asking if I could cut costs.
I just put the phone down when he was insistant I confirmed my details.I Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -
Hope you get them tomorrow. I wasn't phoning to cancel tonight, but he attitude made me think "well if you don't want my £100+ per month, I'm sure someone else will".
Any idea if they phone out on Saturdays, or after 6pm during the week? And do they leave a message that you can call back on? I'm free for the next couple of days, but after that it becomes a bit patchy.
You cannot call them back, they may leave a message however. Usually calls back in a few days.0 -

Thanks. Any idea if they call up until 8pm, or at the weekends?0 -
They rang me at 6:18 the other night, missed that too.
Still waiting to be be called when I am actually in - looks like they have annoyingly lost my mobile number...0 -
If you have the callers name if left on voicemail/answering machine, you can ask for a call back from Live chat or 150 retentions.
Just mention you had call from "outbound retentions team" and give them a time to call back ideally with the callers name if you have it and number to call on.
I had done this through live chat when I received a voicemail and they called back the next day.0 -
Thanks again, guys. Hopefully they'll get back to me soon.0

I've just got broadband (100mb?)
Been having a few connection problems recently, plus the new price rises, so I phoned to cancel.
Paying £27, going up to £29 - offered £20 & a new router.
Being sent the new router and deal in writing, with 14 days to see if it fixes the problem and decide if I want to stay.
What do you guys think? Decent offer? That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.
