Virgin contract is up on November and i will be getting rid of my landline, rarely use it.
Just want Broadband. Rang Virgin a few months ago and enquired about Broadband Only and was told i could get 60 meg for £18.50 a month,
For those on Broadband only, what are you paying? And for those with Broadband and Landline, what are you paying?0 -

Told them I was leaving VM, ended phone call.
2 weeks later got a phone call from Retentions, still wanted to leave, ended phone call.
Checked email a week later and there was an email from a woman in retentions. Negotiated down to £13.75 and the same deal for my old flatmate too who still wanted VM so he took his £13.75 too and I got £50 referral. So for the next 3 months my VM is free.0 -
I'm on 30MB, M+ Standard VHD box and weekend calls for £32.99. Is that good?
They offered me 27.50 if i downgrade m+ to m.0 -
Mine is due up in November. Guess I will give them a call in October to cancel and not take any deal (unless its a great one). And even if I don't hear from them I can call the dy before I'm due to be cut off and ask well I dunno what lol0

I'm currently on
TV Size: M
Broadband XL (Up To 60mb)
V+ HD Monthly Fee
£28.25 plus Telephone Line Rental £14.99 per month (tot £43.24 excl calls)
Reckon I might get that down a bit if I ring them? - certainly seems expensive compared to what others on here are getting... :-(0 -
I have XL TV, 60MG BB, M phone. I want to upgrade to tivo from my V+HD Box. Currently paying £63-66 per month.
Don't need extra box, more minutes or more MB. Just really want cheaper or maybe sports / movie channels if possible with a discount.
Been with them 3 years on 2 contracts as I moved to a different flat.
Many thanks0 -
Just put the notice in to cancel the servives the day after my contract ends. Got a very unhelpful chap who only offered to reduce the services i currently have. Not qiite what im after so my stuff goes dead on 11 November. Oh well...0

Just had a phone call from Virgin this morming. Offered to keep me on the same package (XL Phone and 60 meg BB) was paying £28 a month. Now paying £24 a month.
Maybe not a great deal, but she gave me one month free and £30 credit. The service was due off in November, but she started the new 12 month contract today, so allready im saving a few bob.
Works out over the year i was paying £396. Now its £288. Minus the £30 credit and the month free and its £234.
As i said maybe not the best deal, but im happy.0
