I am paying £45 a month for Virgin Broadband 100MB. I am not on a contract and I note that the latest deal is £30 for 3 months at that speed and £35 thereafter. What are my chances of secures £35 a month?

    Hi,

Been with VM for years, am I likely to be contracted? Or do they just roll the services on? I've currently got

Phone: L (don't use so much, could poss downgrade)
TV: M (happy with channel selection)
BB: think its the old 20mb

I have a box so old I use tape to hold the door shut on the card slot :o and my bill is usually £50-odd a month which seems extortionate. That includes my line rental.

I don't want to leave, but I'd like to knock at least 1/3 off - what's my best plan of attack?

    Many thanks,
    Bossymoo

After a slight run in with VM today when they said there was no way that I was offered a free TiVo based on the rest of what I was offered, I've accepted

    TV M+
    BB L30 (30 meg)
    Free TiVo and install

£18/month plus £120 annual for the phone line.

I'm happy with that. Especially after it took another three calls to get it as they'd changed their mind! :)

Hi all, we have 1 month and 2 days on our contract. Currently have the following

    TV XL
    Broadband L
    XXL Telephone
    Tivo Box
    Additional V HD Box
    Plus line rental

Basically the Premiere collection with XXL TV, currently pay £78 per month.

Rang today and they offered £5 off the bill, anyone got advice on what we should be aiming for, really don't want to switch.

Best deal for broadband only? No need for a landline.
Virgin will give me 60 meg for 24.50. I need 60 as I download and stream lots. Anyone just on 60 meg broadband? If so, at what cost?

The phone cost is negligible anyway. I have 60 meg BB and the phone with free weekend landline calls. I paid £120 up front for the phone and £12.50 a month for the BB so £22.50 for both. I also got the first month (£12.50) free as a loyal customer. Renewed last week.
