Thanks. I'm thinking of taking the Line Rental Saver option to reduce this a bit more. Do you get a discount of £3.90 every month in your price plan for taking the Line Rental Saver option?
Just spoke to Customer Services and took the Line Rental Saver option. Now effectively paying £17.10 for my package - 30mb BB and L phone. Result! :j
Yes, I do get discount for Line Rental Saver. I paid the Line Rental upfront for the whole year.
Sounds like you got the same deal as me! Brilliant! well done! Now we can concentrate on saving and making money in other areas of our livesor practising the nature of your name...Zen

It's part of their national upgrade as long as you are in a cable area. I was upgraded from 20mb to 30mb and my bill shows 'Broadband L (Up To 30mb)'. Try calling them again on 150 > option 5 > 'Leaving us' - connects you to the Customer Relations team, who are a bit more flexible in my experience.0 -
I am paying £34 per month for 10mb broadband and xl phone with free international calls and free mobile calls, also m TV.
The point is I have never had the tv installed, i never phone abroad or mobiles from the house.
I will be phoning them tomorrow.0 -
Hi All!
I have Large TV @ £16 + XL Phone @ £23.90 (Incl. £13.90 line rental) + Cable broadband 20mg (Don't seem to be getting the upgrade to 30 mg) with a £16 bundle discount = £51.40
I contacted them to see how much it would cost for WIFI and was told it would be the same as cable with £20 one off payment.
I said that wasn't acceptable as it was offered free installation for new customers and 6 months free wifi said I would look at Sky to see if I could get a better deal he just said OK - I'm getting ready to tell them I'm leaving but it's making my brain ache trying to figure out what to ask for to stay can anyone tell me what the most I can try for would be please? I've been with them since day 1 and blueyonder before that so I'm well out of contract and I'm willing to say or do anything to get a better deal :-))0 -
Anyone recently upgraded to VM superhub? Do you have any problems at all? I read alot of reviews complaining of wireless problems... I am getting the superhub this week and am quite worried about the service I will get.0

We have had the new superhub to enable us to get the upgrade to 60mg and to date have not had any issues with it, only been about 3 weeks so far though. Like yourself I was worried by what i had read but it has been ok0 -
Argh. Got sky tv but with virgin for my telephone and Internet. Trying to get this cost down, but the best virgin can do is £21.50 (that's using direct debit) for eve and weekend calls, and 20 meg internet. Said Tesco could do it for £16.25 but as a staff member I get it for £13. I am aware however I would get between 8 and 13 meg speed and an allowance of 100 gig.
I stream a lot and download lots, so really not an option for me. Had a look on various sites, and I do think virgin are still the better choice, however, I wanted to check if I could get it cheaper. Highly unlikely I know. My services are due to disconnect with virgin next month (already handed 30 day notice in).
Hoping that I'm not disconnected and left without Internet, the oh would kill me.....
Thanks in advance.0
