Hi, sorry haven't been on here for a while. Just to reply to comments:

Re ADSL - I used to be under virgin.net but they changed their name some time ago - all my correspondance and billing is from Virgin Media. If I type in virgin.net it changes to virginmedia.com. Anyway that's why I assumed this thread was for all Virgin customers. MSE- could you make this clear if this is not the case please?

Re the £10 BB and phone offer (Wig and BexTech) I was offered this when I told Virgin I wanted to leave. Someone in their tech dept said Virgin are planning to buy up BT phone lines here, maybe that's why. I couldn't take it up because the phone is not paid by me, so was stuck with £14.99 for BB alone.

Re the email (greyster and Bextech) - I use hotmail and yahoo for pretty much everything. The problem was that Virgin refused to send me the MAC to anywhere EXCEPT my virgin email (given to me when I first subscribed) - which was up the creek for days. They wouldn't send it to another email address or by post.

It took me 5 and a half weeks in the end to get a MAC out of them, after many phone calls and letters to various places. Horrible experience. Due to change from Virgin to O2 tomorrow, fingers crossed.

Need some help to get my bill lower or possibly wangle me sentanta sports.

My service charges are £38.95

These are

Talk unlimited £7.95
Phone tv & bundle saving -£9.50
Free voicemail £0.00
Tv size L £11.50
At races????????? £0.00
Broadband size M £18.00


Just tried the sky's offering me better and the woman actually said Id have to pay £3 more for sentanta but shed give a £1 discount if I signed up to online billing!!!!!!!!!!


Please can anyone help me it would make DP and DS happy if they had sentanta

Can you get Sky LLU broadband, if so that would save you, £8, £13 or £18 /month depending on the package, more than enough to cover Sultana sports.
BTW If you are on cable why are you paying line rental?
Also if you dont have a BT phone line you will have to pay £125 ish to have it put in, before Sky can deliver broadband.

When i signed up they gave me alot off because i said i'd be leaving sky to join them. and on my bill it show the discount bundle as 'ex-sky'.

Defenatly try calling them for a better quote.

Also on the XL tv package setanta 1 & 2 and sky 1 & 2 are FREE, also all of the on demand except movies are free too.
