Hi, has anyone had any retention deals with the just phone with unlimited calls and 10/20/30mb broadband and may be free tv? if so, how much is your monthly charges?

    Thanks.
  • Well, 2 weeks till we disconnect. So far only had 4 x calls from retentions - all 4 have been rubbish, they have put us back on 10meg that we were paying for (they dropped us to 2 meg!!! and I'm not talking about the cap rate either) and had the offer of knocking off a couple off quid from the phone... From what i have read up so far from other peoples new deals we should be getting 50meg BB, Phone, XL TV, SKY SPORTS/MOVIES. Instead we are getting a fraction of that and paying a lot more. Also seems the people who have contacted us from retentions want rid! lol.
Wondering if there's a way to get to speak to the decent people at retentions?
    Anyways, Happy Christmas Everybody

they are doing you deals based on what you currently have. have you asked them for a deal on VIP 50 if thats what you want?

I'm hearing others getting the £86.46 rate...my goodwill has come through now, so im all good to go for the new install date on the 5th - looking forward to it :)

Hmmmm, managed to find that deal. That is a heck of a lot better that what we have and what we are paying. How would we go about getting it upgraded etc? would like to get the 100meg BB tbh as the kids hammer it on games and watching films.

they should come and install for free, you ould stay on what you are on now - 100mb is complete overkill - you will pay alot more just to have it - botht he 50mb and 100mb are apparently not subject to the same throttling of the other packages they offer.

    M Phone
    M Tv (free anyway)
    S Broadband (2mb)

currently pay £25. was offered M Phone and L Broadband (10mb) and no tv for £21.50
Given my 30 days notice to go to talktalk £16 for phone and broadband.

well they first offered me L phone L broadband and m+tv for 15.50 for first 3 months and told me after 3 months i can cancel the tv. but i later found out there was 12 months contract so cant cancel it and also 15.50 was for first 12 months and phone contract length was 18months. asked for disconnection again withen cooling off period. and was offered m phone and L broadband for 21.50 with first 2 months free. works out at about 18 pounds per month for 12 months with 12 months contract. so accepted it:T

The ONLY way you will get the £86.46 is through the retention call back, there is no other way.
