£25 a month. I had given notice to cancel and they phoned me back to convince me to stay and i did. they offered TV M for extra £5 with V HD box but i said no.0 -
Sadly, this is my result of haggling:
Existing package (customer since 2007/8):

Package cost £32 compared with £20 on originally signing up.
We live in a building where Virgin are not able to install or supply phone lines, and therefore we are unable to take out any 3 item package deals (e.g. the original 3 for £30). We are also prevented from installing any aerials or dishes on our building, so Sky is not an option either!
As we only had two services with them, they were not 'able' or willing to do anything to stop us from cancelling either service or leaving. As my issue was with the average channel provision on the TV package, I've cancelled that.
Now we just pay £21/month for broadband only. It is annoying that their internet speed, reliability, etc for us has been so good, because I would love to have said goodbye completely. They weren't even very apologetic about not being able to help us.

I've been trying to speak to the Outbound Customer Relations team for weeks now, I dial the number they gave me and it goes straight to answering machine asking me to leave me name and number which I do then nothing happens. I repeat this process every few days but no-one ever calls me back - obviously they are not bothered about keeping my custom. I can't ring the main number because as I said before they won't give me the same deal the outbound guys did. What a crappy company they are to deal with. My cancellation date is this week, going to have to ring and postpone it then get Sky in I think.0

Just wanted to post what I received in the end, and hope this helps someone. I did the chasing, and the guy was helpful, if a little taught (tort? sp?) - but probably gets people stressing at him most of the time. I did use the 0191 423 6473 number to get through, both times I left a message I got called back the same day.
Anyway, this saves me exactly £10 a month on what I was paying for the same services, but with free 0845/0870 and Caller Display.

Been with C&W/NTL/Virgin since 1997.
Moved house - Virgin said it wasn't cabled and I'd have to have ADSL BB and no TV. Checked into other deals and got one with Sky.
Rang Virgin to cancel and quoted the Sky deal. They agreed to reduce my cost on matching terms. I agreed.
Moved into my new house and ADSL installed OK.
Then I noticed at the foot of my drive a plastic triangular cover with "Nynex" on it. Looked at my neighbours and some of them had the brown Cable boxes on their outer walls.
I rang Virgin and said it looks like my street is cabled and you have put me on ADSL. At first they wouldn't believe me and one lady got quite shirty. I persisted and they agreed to get a "Spotter" to call me.
It turns out that a "spotter" is a surveyor. He calls me and I give postcode and house number. He says yes, I CAN HAVE CABLE and it was a mistake to put me on ADSL - turns out that my postcode hadn't been updated on their system.
I'm now awaiting a further installation of Cable on 15th September.
I have ended up putting in a formal complaint, but that's another story (their customer service is APPALLING).
My advice, check and don't believe their computer system !0 -

What's that number from Moonchild? Given up on the London number Outbound Customer Relations number they gave me as no one ever rings back, wonder if it's worth me trying that one?0 -

I currently am on the smallest bundle with Virgin, which is: Phone M + line rental, TV M+ and BB L. I pay £33.90 a month for this.
My contract for the TV ends in November, the rest is already out of contract (I added a couple fo channels a while back which lengthened the Tv contract.) so I could give my 60 days notice in September.
I was wondering if I could try to negociate anything cheaper then? Has anyone been offered the same thing for less? I am not bothered about V+ boxes and the likes, I'm happy with my current package - but obviously if I could get it cheaper it would be a bonus!

I was going to quote Orange broadband and phone at the moment.....
12 months contract, £12.75 line rental with unlimited calls anytime, £10 broadband 20mb unlimited data usage as a new customer..... = £253, then quico cashback is £120 so the yearly total is £133...... Much better than the £23 I was getting without cashback deal (10mb unlimited broadband, and line rental with free evening and weekend calls) for being a current customer for a few years.0
