Not sure, I think I can get Plusnet & Primus, but there seems some horror stories about them, (yes there are some about Virgin), and the cost is not much cheaper.
Neither of those are LLU operators - they just repackage the BT product.
Here's a list of LLU operators.

Am still thinking of staying with Virgin, (ADSL), but still waiting confirmation email.
Edit;-
Just spoken to another agent, will send email today! They will unbundle if I take line rental , should I be concerned?
They are telling me that because 0845/0870 are being scrapped by Ofcom, ( this is a lie), these numbers will be replaced by 0345!
He suggested that override numbers will be allowed! is this true on an ADSL line rental with Virgin?

Hi there,
Can anyone tell me what they pay, or what they believe would be a 'good' price for these services we get from Virgin? I'm trying to save my parents money and I know they are paying over the odds.
Telephone line
TV (XL)
1 V+ HD Box + 2 additional V Boxes
Broadband (L)
Skymovie 2, Skymovie 1, Sports 1, Sports 2 (Is this sky movies + sky sports + ESPN? Paying £29.50 for it a month).
Altogether, it comes to around £90 a month.
Parents have been with these guys for 5 years or something..
edit: Can anyone also tell me what price the above services would be with 2 HD Boxes rather than the standard V Boxes. Are they monthly, or just a one off charge?0 -
I've been offered £15.44:-
10Mb BB (think it is L, but could be M - didn't check)
M phone.
Will give me 1 month free + a free d-link wireless N router. 12 month contract on BB and 18 months on phone. Averages at £14.60/month. About the same as O2 which works out at £14.50 (which I would take but don't have BT line). What do you guys think?0 -
I am currently on Virgin BB L, Phone M and TV M (i.e. free) at £26.49. Don't really need the phone and TV (in fact phone has not been used for months to the extent that I didn't know the phone was dead ...).
Phoned up and the best I could haggle down to is to match the new subscribers £20.25 per month with has BB L only.
They said they can't do ANY better (spoke to various people already). But I see from previous posts here saying keeping phone M and BB L could be down to £15 or £19 a month.
I am waiting for a guy who's the most sensible one to call me back - and am tempted to say if they let us keep the BB and TV M at £15, they get a better chance of us actually spending more like buying movies etc.
Any suggestions as to what I can do / say before actually cancelling the contract? Many thanks0 -

The prices seem to be all over the place looking at discussions on here and elsewhere - and just because someone has been offered a package as described on here (e.g. £15) does not mean that it will be offered to you, even if you ask for it directly (from experience!). You need to put in your cancellation to get offered a better deal (you can cancel the cancellation later if required!).

Some discussed above have been offered around £15 for BBL and XL Telephone, but I couldn't get it (best they could come up with was £19+ after putting in the cancelation!). That said, still a reasonable price I suppose (added begrudgingly, as I hate it when someone manages to get a better deal than me!).

@Anon - I take it you dont have TV on your package? I've still not got round to doing anything further about getting a new deal but am trying to keep track of what others have been/ are being offered.0

No, we dropped tv late last year as managed to get one of the half price Sky+HD deals that was going round (that said, V+ with XL Tv is superior in some aspects as it includes On Demand and 3 tuners not 2 - it is surprising how many good programmes are on between 8 and 10 on different channels!)

I've seen people on here get M phone and L BB for around £12-13, sometimes even XL. I didn't get that far, but since I was paying £15 for S (2Mb) BB, I thought I may as well upgrade to 10Mb + phone for 44p more, only downside is the 18 month contract on the phone. If they had given me both for 18 or preferbaly 12 months that would have been better.0
