It's more than you wanted so haggle with them.

I wouldn't be too interested in the homehub - there have apparently been a lot of problems with the version for 10Mb and 20Mb.

I spoke to some one at virgin last week and think i got a decent enough deal
had
basic tv, broadband & phone for £21.99 - the deal did start at £20 2 years ago!
well i now have the same deal for 18 months, £13.99 for 1st 12 months and then £21.99 for last 6 month.

I advised them that i am having problems with remote/box, not sure which, but it is an ntl box, so i would be sent another one.
When i called again today to confirm, find out when letter with evidence of contract would be sent, i was advised that i was being sent a V+ box. the woman i spoke to seem to be distracted and was typing all the way through the call, even though, there was not much talking going on, i dont feel she was helpful, i felt more confused after i spoke to her.

so i am confused, i know you can record with this box, but i thought it was only for people with large or extra large tv packages, will i be charged???? help?

Cancelled with Sky last month as looking to go with Virgin..

Best deal they can give me is:

V+HD XL tv
XL BB
and M phone.

For £44 a month on a 12 month contract.

Seems a little high to me, I kept pushing and actually quoted some of the prices on here and the person said 'No idea how the hell they've got that price' and she wouldn't budge.

Any ideas? Only wanted to pay around £35 a month! At the price they're offering it'd work out slightly cheaper to of stayed with Sky.

Tell them you want to cancel and give your 30 day notice. I told them I was going to go with BT for phone,tv and broadband as it was so much cheaper.

Got a call from retentions 4 days later offering me:

2x V+ - XL
XL Broadband
M Phone with free 0845/0870
Free home hub
£40.84 a month, 18 month contract.

Cheers, think I'll ring them back later/tomorrow and do just that..

Not happy as I've just seen some of the deals she offered me are bog standard ones off the website.. which she claimed were 'loyalty offers'

I assume you are not yet a customer of Virgin?

The deals on here are retentions deals not new customer deals.

Try using Quidco or Topcashback and see if there are cashback offers that will reduce the price.

How hard can it be ?

Ok..At the moment i have Virgin 50mb broadband only...

And considering switching away from SKY....
Want 1 x V+ HD box
and one regular box for kids room upstairs
Also want the phone line.

So in essence im looking to spend a extra £50 per month.

Do you think i can talk to anyone in the UK regarding this without being bounced aroundthe world in one phone call ? And being given differnet amounts for install and package details ? NO NO NO

Does anyone have a email or phone number for complaints where i can actuallt talk to someone in the UK ?

If you select the "I want to cancel" option on the phone it will put you through to a UK call center.
