my first post - so hope i get it right !!!!!
have been with VM about 3 yrs now and on the following package last negotiated about 18months ago.
BB M : 20.50
TV XL: 24.50
Phone M: 0.00
Rental: 11.99
Loyalty Discount: 19.50
Leave me with a monthly charge of £37.49.
Is this a good deal ?
I have seen new/upgrades to TV XL can get a free V+ HD box and installation for free.
Also BB L is only £12.50 per month for new customers.
I feel like i should be paying less.
Your thoughts appreciated.0 -

I don't know when it started but it's been that price since I first looked at VM a month or so back

called yesterday to cancel as Im paying £40 per monh for Phone Large and BB XL (20 Meg), I want TV with Sports and some Asian channels.
Sky offered me 2 boxes with multiroom, Entertainment pack, line rental, Sports Pack and the are waiving Installation charges working out at £57 pcm.
Virgin offered 2 boxes (one standard), I think it was XL TV (inlcuding ESPN), Sports Pack, Asian Pack and Phone and BB stay the same for £72 per month. I felt that was too much so said no and asked to cancel. :O
i didnt do this through the "Im thinking of leaving number" but via customer services. Its only been a day I know but do you think theyll call me back and try and keep me with a better offer, if so how long do other people wait for a call in general.
Im still considering the sky offer but I prefer the Fibre Optic Broadband, if they got it down to nearer £65 Id probably stick with them.0 -
Currently paying £83.49 for this.
TV XL
BB M (as stated on bill although it doesn't even exist anymore but its 10MB anyway after 'free' upgrade!)
Phone M (i.e. just free wknd calls)
Sky Sports & Movies Packs
2x additional STBs
(NB - No V+ or V+ HD boxes all are standard STBs)
Been a customer for a good while and realise I must be paying over the odds!
Really would appreciate knowing what others are paying for similar\exactly same asap before I negotiate. I have looked through some of the thread and will continue to do so. Thanks in advance.0 -

Comparing my post from Feb with current bundle prices, the prices are basically the same.

I currently pay £56.99 pm for:
Telephone M £11.99
TV XL £24.50
Broadband M (no longer exists, but still stated as M on my bill) £20.50
Sports pack £20.50
-£19.50 loyalty pack
-£1.00 e billing
I have a V+ HD box.
I rang up yesterday to ask about wireless internet, and was told it would either cost me £40 for the router and £30 for the adapter for my pc, or I could upgrade to XL (I think?) BB for an extra £15 pm. I declined.
Can't seem to find anyone on here with a similar package to me...what do you guys think of this? Obviously I would like to pay less, or at the very least get free router as is the deal for new customers, but they wouldn't budge.0 -
got off the phone from VM retentions.
I was on;
L broadband
M phone
line rental
£25 a month (last bill was £45!!)
I have been offered;
L broadband
XL phone
XL TV
2x samsung (3D ready) V+ HD boxes
line rental
£49 for second box
free installation
£50 a month
i'm tempted :beer:0 -
Currently have L BB, XL TV, L Phone at £41.24. Phoned '150 thinking of leaving' said I could get equivalent Sky package for £39. VM said 'but you have a loyalty discount of £22.70'. Ok, without loyalty discount that would be an uncompetative £63.94! tried haggling a bit more. VM wouldn't bring my monthly sub down but did throw in V+ box absolutely free for 12 months - no installation/setup fees or extra monthly sub. Not sure what happens in a year though, hope to negotiate a no increase deal.0

Thanks for all your posts, just got off the phone:
Currently have TV XL, Broadband L and Talk Eves/Wends with standard Box, the new deal gives me a V+ HD box and I got to keep the standard box for the bedroomall installations free moving from £43 to £45.
You think I did well?0
