Worked for me.
best they could give me was 10Mb BB with L phone for £23.95pm. After cancelling and them phoning me I ended up with 10Mb BB and XL phone plus free wireless router for £13.95pm with a £30 credit.0 -
Ooooo perfect! That's what she offered me, but on an 18 month contract - I would have accepted a 12 month contract at £18.49 like TT, but she wouldn't go there.
WOW I can't believe you get BB L and XL phone for only £13.95 =oO how did you end up there?!?!
Edited to add - what I was referring to in the first paragraph was the £23.95 deal.0 -
OP, you are aware that you need a BT line before you can sign up to any other provider? If you have Virgin Media cable service then you are stuck with them until you get a BT line.
Are you saying that TT offered you a completely free line install? No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
MacMan - Yes and yes0

Quite a result! But I hope you got that in writing, TT have a habit of agreeing things at the call centres that don't translate quite the same at the billing stage. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
I can understand that - you get that pretty much everywhere!! Not got it in writing, but if I decide to go ahead with them I will make sure I do first0

I told her that I was leaving because BT was £11.54pm and O2 was £7.50pm with 2 months free and £75 cashback making the total £11.54pm.
She started off with L phone and L BB for £13.95pm. When I said this was still too dear she said her manager wanted to speak to her to see what she could offer.Back she came with a £30 goodwill credit. The asked about a router and sais she would send one out.
I asked for time to think about it and she said she would phone next day. When she phoned back I said it was still dearer but offering Anytime calls might sway me. She went off to check and lo and behold it would be the same price for XL phone as L phone.
Basically works out at £11.45pm.0 -

Since calling them, our landline now only has an engaged tone - can't make or receive calls!! Done everything I can think of to "reset" it!! Nothing!!!!!!!!!
And the internet still works....barely - the speed is now worse than dial up
What on earth is going on, and could someone help please!? I'm going to have to ring them from the MOBILE (dread to think how much that'll cost) to see what the hell is going on. I'm FUMING!!0 -

What site?
The O2 prices I'm quoting are from still available. Up to 8Mb for O2 customers is £7.50pm with 2 months free. The £75 cashback was available through Quidco at the time - it's now £50 I believe. Also is your £13.xx with virgin including the line rental
thanks
Yes it includes phone line rental.0
