Yes my daughters got it at her student house. She signed up and got 3 months half price then she paid £17.99 for 1 month then I rang up for her and asked if I could have the £9.99 deal that lots of other people were on and she said yes sure 6 months. She didnt check if she was in contract, I thought it best to pay 1 month full so they wouldnt notice so easy that she was in contract when they looked at her last bill.Thanx

Hi Folks. New here. It's fascinating to read the varying amounts of success people have had reducing their ntl bills.
I am in a rural area where there is no cable, I therefor have Freedom Broadband, which comes through a BT phoneline. I have 2Mb and talk unlimited, which means all UK calls are inclusive for £24.99., but I still have to pay line rental to BT. Has anyone else in this position achieved good results?
I have had a call from talktalk offering 8Mb broadband and all Uk calls, plus international calls to 28 countries, and a huge download allowance, for only £20.99. This even includes the line rental, which currently I have to pay to BT as well as paying £24.49 to NTL.0 -
I had a call from talk talk just a few days ago, they said if I decided to go with them, they would contact Bt and NTL and sort everything out for the changeover, I wouldn't have to do anything at all. The no. they gave me to contact them on if I did decide to go with them is 0870 4441820.0

AuntyJean wrote:Please could you advise how you went about contacting BT to get your line changed. Did they not commit you? Talk Talk have no instructions on changing over if you are with Telewest/NTL.
when talk talk contacted me only 2 days ago, they said if I went with them, they would contact BT and NTl to sort out the switchover, I would have to do nothing.0 -
