  • Anyone know how I can get a free upgrade to the 10MB connection, from 4MB on Telewest Bluneyonder? I've been a 4 year customer, and previous home owners have had them too! Paying the full £25 per month, never had one of these free routers etc either!!

I would call them but I'm a little afraid.. What do they say / ask you when you neogtiate?!

Tell them you want to cancel your service....they really don't want that to happen ;)

    Hiya peeps,

This is a wonderful thread :D

After reading it I too phone telepest and got my 2 meg broadband reduced from £17.99 to £9.99 for 6 months and the nice lady said she would be happy for me to phone back in 6 months to see what their deals were at that point.

That's nearly a whole weeks income support You've just saved me!! :T

And also scottish power just caved on my overpayment and sent me £136 - the third cheque they've had to send in the last 6 months.Still new meter now so shouldn't happen again. :D

If this site keeps helping me this much I might even be solvent and still have a christmas:eek:

A customer of NTL Hell for over a year and half now and i still experience poor service of which my previous threads explain so no back tracking on those complaints here.

I have contacted NTL/Virgin to upgrade my package to include my Virgin mobile after five contacts six weeks have past and i am still waiting for the elusive phone call/paperwork as promised.

Further more..... When i recently complained to Ntl concerning the continous freezing of channels and 30 second plus delay when changing channels not to mention two minutes waiting to access BBCi, there techies tell me that if it happens more than five times then they consider it a fault. The faults are there day on day but their next excuse is that due to the upgrade of their service we are to expect such problems.

I have a direct number to to one of NTHells MD's who was so helpful in previous matters so its time to give him an update on the poor progress they have made regarding customer service.

I would welcome your views .

Get it installed and then negotiate in your cooling off period.
