    Phone Line rental £11.00
    Talk Unlimited £9.95
    Call reject, Caller display £4.25
    TV XL £20.50
    Loyalty Pack -£24.50

    1 additional box £15.00
    V+ box £10.00
    Set Box dsicount -£10.00

    B/B size M £18.00

Note: The talk unlimited option cost me in fact £0.45, as the loyalty pack goes down to £15 if I didn't take talk unlimited.
Regarding the Set top box I have only 2 box (1 standard and 1v+)

By comparison my previous package was (at the time) TV L, Phone rental, B/B L =£40 (+£4.25 for call reject caller display), only 1 standard box.

that's an ok offer to what allot of customer pay for the same services the 1 difference is when u took out the v+ box it was 10 pounds a month extra or 10 pounds each month onto your service . but what virgin are doing nw is u pay a one off payment of 150 pounds and u get the box with no extra monthly cost so if u where planning on keeping the box longer then 15 months u would start to get the rewards . that my be where the difference is the extra 10 pounds a month u pay . as allot of new customers do not may the 10 pounds a month option just 1 off payments for the v+ box. hope that helps

Yes i've been thinking about that £150 one off cost for a couple of month but never got round to do it. I will indeed phone them up soon for that. Was it not £100 rather than £150 for XL customers (or existing cutomers ??)

hi if u are looking to getting a better service with virgin media i can explaned who u ned to call and what u ned to say to get a cheaper service.
Thanks for your offer of assistance, This is my 1st contact folks, advance apology if Iget this wrong. Miserable since the loss of 'SKY' channels & to date I've not received any discount for this etc. Mind you I haven't asked or even know how to go about it, so I would appreciate your insider information and of course anyone else who can be helpful here. Thanks again.

This is what happened to me recently. My bill went up because an old discounted deal finished. I was paying £59 for:

    XL TV
    L (4MB) BB
    Normal Phone
    V+
    Extra normal box

The new price went up to £71. I called up and said wasn't happy about that. They offered it for £61 (basically the 3 for £30 plus the extras). I wasn't happy as it was more than I was paying so I went off, investigated Sky and BT etc, decided it wasn't worth the money I'd have to lay out, and then called them back and said I'd take the £61 deal, but that I wanted to add Talk Evening & Weekends.

He went away to play with his computer and came back and said because I was taking an extra service he could give me the whole lot for £48!!!
