Hi all with regards to these special offers in december 06 i got an offer from ntl as i had broadband already to upgrade and save
    this was

    family Pack = 9.75
    Broad band 10 meg (Now 20 meg)= 17.49
    Sky 1 and 3 = free
    Sony Asia= Free
Talk 24 and line rental free

    Total paying £27.24

this was for 6 months i phoned today to get that offer again and was refused instead they offered me

    Broadband = £18.50
    multichannels xl =10.25
    Talk 24 and line rental = £5.50

which works out to £34.50 but no skysports 1 or 3 and no sony asia apparantly they dont have no special offers for these channels is this true?

Im reconsidering my position for the tv as i want skysports i love my football but i wont be silly and pay full price for it has anyone recently been offered a better price package or what do you think is this really the best i can get and have to pay full price for skysports???
  • regarding indian channels my frnd got all (or many) for £12
  • I have been with NTL for over 7 years and the only product I have is Broadband Internet. Prior to Virgin taking over, I have always managed to get 6 months @ £10/month discount every year. I rang Virgin to see if they would offer me any discounts and they said that I will have to continue paying £18/month or I could go to one of their 2 for £20 deals. I want to continue using my BT line as I am using Euphony and have SKY TV.

Has anyone else managed to get a good deal from Virgin for just their Broadband?

I am thinking of cancelling and moving to SKY Broadband? Anybody have any experience of this?

I’ve had the 3 for 30 for the past 2 years which is 2mb bb + TV L + weekend calling landline which I never ever use, and now have the Asian TV pack with it for 24 so my total line rental is 54£ a month which is obviously not what I intend to keep paying. Any chances I can haggle this down and ask virgin to include sky movies as well and end up paying no more than 35-40 a month??? Also can I have the customer retentions number? Any suggestions welcome thanks a lot.

that retention number hasn't worked for ages.one has to go through the 150 and choose the option either you want to leave and take your services or want to leave and not take your services.i've done both and got through to them

I just got through but offered an average package of £26.95 for 4mb broadband and line rental.

I have had previous deals of 10mb & line rental and talk unlimited for £20.

I also have sign up to a minimum 12 month contract which is new.

Need to switch I think - but who??? hmm
    Cheers,
