do u know how much u pay at the momnet ? total package
Hopefully you mean me :-)
I currently pay:
20mb BB -£37
Line Rental - £11
Talk Unlimited - £10
TOTAL = £58
As I said previously I was paying £20 for this..... that is why I signed up for the faster BB and talk unlimited to match the talk talk deal at the time. I have consider going back to 4mb broadband and removing talk unlimited.
Cheers

I was wondering why you were asking everyone's details of their package.0 -

BOOOO HISSSThe orginal post in this thread has a very very slim chance of being about money saving. The post is more than likely to ask a question that google could answer better than any of us.0 -

I was told that I could have my 10mb (now 20mb) broadband for life at half price £17.50, now £18.50.
However they have taken the full £37 :eek: for the last 3 months despite me phoning up when I get the direct debit email 2 weeks before they take the money to make sure they take the right amount
Received the same email this time saying they were going to take £37 so phoned up again, the guy I spoke to wasn't happy and said this would be the last 3 months that they could give it me at half price and said could only offer a measly £11.50 refund for the previous 3 months meaning I'll only pay £7 this time (if they take the right amount) :eek:
That can't be right surely? So I'll have paid £116 for 4 months (£35 + £37 + £37 + £7) should have paid £73 ( £17.50 + £18.50 + £18.50 + £18.50) meaning they have overcharged me by £43 :eek:
Is there anyway I can get this back, seems wrong to tell me when I phone that they will definately only take £18.50 but then take £37 and when I phone up to ask for it back they say there is nothing they can do :eek: surely thats got to be wrong??
Maybe I just got an unhelpful person, will see what they take this time and maybe try and get someone more helpful, think this is my 12th month now so might be in a better bargaining position then0 -
the 25 i should be.
i explained i can get it faster for cheaper on adsl she didnt listen apart from to tell me adsl is useless and they cut the speeds - i explained so do virgin and she denied it ..
