The chap said there were some delays last month but no problems this month.
I've had 3 phones from them got £900+ cash back then got 3 new phones so far all cashback paid, and second claim accepted.
I sent the requests for all 3 phone via seperate record delivery (£3) this is in line with their guidance, and I sent copies of the whole bill (not just the 2 pages they ask for as in the past I've had the first 2 pages only sent back as inadequate! Still has enough time to sent the whole bill to them! They do not take faxes unless they have lost the item AND you have proof of purchase.
I take the approach
1. Get the phone check you have the correct vouchers (I was given ones for e2save only noticed that the address for returns was different, call CS, they confirmed the mistake and took 2 months to send out replacements
2. Get the dates worked out, the time starts from connection date not billing date.
3. Send copies of bills, never the orignal.
4. Do not change the account, name or address or number during the cashback period.
5. Call Cs via their local number posted on this thread, leave 15 minutes Q time. Make a note of when an who you spoke to.
6. Prepare all the paperwork in advance and keep them carefully, note the schdule on a calendar etc. Include a covering note, copy of invoice, cashback voucher etc, doubl check before you send each voucher in a seperate evelope with its own copy of all supporting paperwork.
7. Send the items off as soon as they will accept it as problems take time to resolve.
8. A week after sending the item check they have got it and that there are not problems with the claim.
Thanks for all the people on this thread / site for all their help advice. If done properly you can get some good deals for very little money. I sold of my old phones, and some of the new ones I got on this year's contract. I tend to stick with the 12month contracts.Seth.0 -
I sent my first cashback off yesterday via recorder delivery and it has arrived according to the Royal mail website. How long can i expect to wait for a cheque. It says 21 days, has anyone got it any sooner?0

Once can vary from 2 weeks to 2 months! The later was when CPW had taken over OSPS and they could not use their old cheques or something!
Call them in a week, if they have lost it, fax over the airtime invoices that will be fine. Make a note of who you spoke to and when. Leave 15 minutes for waiting time on the call usually answered in 5 minutes.Seth.0 -
I was wondering whether anyone has noticed something similar to this...
I have two contracts with OSPS now (one should have been cancelled because I returned the phone but it got lost in the post).
They are both very similar, one is £25/month with 8 months free and the other with 9 months free. The 9 months free has 3 gifts (cashbacks) listed on the 'your offer explained' at about £66 each. The 8 months free should have 3 gifts @ £75 each but instead it says .66 for each one (what????).
I only just noticed this today. Has anyone had anything similar? Is it just a mistake on the invoice or is that how much they reckon they'll be giving me?
I had to call customer services 3 times today about the lost phone spending over an hour on hold in total, so i really don't feel like calling them again anytime soon!0 -
They are defintely a "CHEATING/BENT" company and must be avoided for any business as proved through my personal dealing with them.0

This will be my first cashback claim with OSPS - can someone answer these questions: I did try to call the saynoto0870 number but even that was kept on hold for over 30 minutes !!!!!
1) The claim form asks for a order number but the only details in my documentation with the form are a customer and a transaction number. Any idea what format the order number should take?
2) My first claim is Month 4 and I was connected on the 26/6/06 so should I also send after 26/10/06 but which bill - I already have my O2 bill marked invoice 4 but my next bill will not be sent until the 6/11/06 - should I wait until I get this bill or just send the one for October? In the words of Jerry Maguire "SHOW ME THE MONEY"0 -
Wait till you get the 6/11/06 bill. it proves you have paid for month 4, which is what they want i think. Thats what i did anyway.0

Even the month 4 could be open to interpretation. You could argue that 26/6 is in fact month 1. These rules should be 100% clear. BTW I have been told by CS to send in the last bill I have received at that time.0
