It'd seem as if the facts are squarely stacked against them. You are owed money and that's what SCC are for. Also getting a few dozens of claims would help them focus on things.Sexkitten

hai,
Update on this dirty outfit.
1. I have sent the full pages (3) of the corresponding invoice by special delivery. Senior executive answered me this me this time - saying - their company has not received the proper bills yet.
2. I have the proof of special delivery - after 5-6 e mails - he kept on saying that they have not received the papers - i got fed up - wrote a letter - if i do not receive the money in 14 days - i will go to small claims court - then surprise surprise- got an answer - your cash back will be sent within 21 days. i wont believe them - till i receive the cheque.
3. if you post the papers by recorded delivery - they will say - they have not received the papers - so be careful. They will ask you to get a proof of posting fromt he post office - which costs money and time. (happened with at least 10 people so far).
4. answer to the question - why these people are not going to scc to get cash back ?
the answer is - you can not go to scc till you go through certain procedure and when they fail to honour - then you get the eligibility to go to scc. Majority of customers are not having the time and patience to go through this dirty procedure - many will drop out after certain time - it is this impatience which is the cash for the osps. Even trading standards authority also will help only after you have made sufficient effort to claim the money back.
I am hoping sufficient critical mass will complain to bbc watch dog and trading standards authority - so all of them will take this dirty company seriously.

OSPS is improving a lot.I got my second cash back with in 14 days of sending the bill. But still i don't like the restrictions by OSPS like one need to post the 4th invoice after 4th month not at the time customer receive the bill & if cash back voucher is lost than no further vouchers will be sent.On the other hand CPW is giving 2 months to claim the cash back on clearance deals & e2save giving 28 days but it is simple as one need to post the specific invoice as soon as they receive it.0

I know it doesn't help you now, but might help others - you can ask for a proof of posting receipt when you post a letter or package. It doesn't cost any extra but does show that you posted something to that address on a certain date, in a certain place. Not a substitute for Special Delivery or Recorded Delivery, but an additional precaution perhaps.0 -

OSPS counts the day when you ordered the phone, Starting from that day when four months completed you claim period starts and you need to send latest bill at that time, say you are connected on 12 Feb, your claim date starts from 12 June to 12 Jul. You can send any latest bill available on 12 June, what ever the bill number is either its 3rd/4th or 5th it doesn't matter."Money saving is often a science, investment is often an art."...MSE0 -
