It is better if you send this bill (first two pages) to osps on or after 10th of january otherwise your claim may become invalid.Your 28 day deadline starts from 10th january and ends by 6th or 8th of feb.So even you can send the .another bill 14th jan along with it as sometimes they are very fussy.they tell you to even send the another latest bill.Remember to send it by recorded delivery only with the cash back voucher .

As your next bill is so soon after the 10th Jan, why not sent copies of both?

had a similar problem as eagleeye. Took out a C72 on orange 1000 off peak @£20 a month. Website clearly states that 1000mins offpeak to orange mobiles and landlines.

Got the pack yesterday and the tarriff is 1000 mins orange to orange off peak only. I called orange and they confirmed that off peak calls to landlines will be charged.

Tried getting thru to them and ended up on a constant loop within their phone system.
  • vj, something wrong here.

there are two tariffs and they are confusing.

i think you're on the "orange to orange off peak" £20 a month that is off peak calls orange to orange AND landlines.

i think what you want to be on is the £25 a month far better value ... "off peak xnet" which is off peak to any mobile or landline.

as the latter is more expensive i'd have thought it could be classed as an "upgrade" and they'd let you go up in price on to it instead.

    Hi,

I actually wanted the 1000 off peak for landline, so I did go for the correct tariff, but I checked with Orange today, as I expected off peak to be 7pm - 7am Mon - Fri + all day Sat, Sun and Bank Holidays.

Orange told me that I was on 1000 off peak orange to orange, where off peaj was 7pm-7am every day. Calls at the weekend before 7pm would be charged as would all landline calls, irrespective of time.

Definately not what I purchased, so will have to call them next week to clarify, The invoice says "Orange to Orange Off Peak 1000", whereas the web site says orange mobiles + landlines for £20.

Only went for it as ther was 12 month free line rental :(

I have raised a claim on smallclaims.gov.uk and the claims service gives them 14 days to respond (2nd January). What do I do next? I believe my only sanction is to get a judgement against them. Then what ? Am I supposed to hear some bailiffs to go & collectmy claims? HELP!!!

You won't need to do anything. They will settle out of court once they get this. If not then visit this website for easy to understand advice on the processes

What was the outcome of this please? I claimed my m12 cashback but am waiting for them to process - sent end of December (Special Delivery) but as yet it has not appeared on their system according to CS. Apparently Redemptions were closed over Christmas and returned on 3/1, therefore working through the claims and a slight delay.

I have just got to my 4th month & just discovered that I was never sent any redemption certificates, I emailed OSPS and they say I had to contact them within 14 days to advise any missing documentation. I have nothing that quotes that nor is there anything on their website.

Anyone know if this is true or do I have a leg to stand on?

    Cheers

They do say at the point of ordering that full details of the cashback will be sent out with the phone and if anything is missing from the package, you have to notify them within 7?) days otherwise you are deemed to have accepted the order has been delivered correctly. Their phone line also has a message saying that they are unable to replace lost vouchers. No doubt this is covering themselves - but it demonstrates that you need to be really on the ball when ordering any deal involving a cashback and stick strictly to the terms.

Are you sure that it did not come out with the order? Mine included a 3 page letter - the invoice, the vouchers and the terms and conditions all on the same letterhead paper.

Annoying and unfair I know, but this is probably how they afford such offers by catching people out and I don't think they are likely to back down at this stage.
