I was after som advice from you guys. I have been chasing the OSPS since August. I sent my cashback claim visa first class post and they have not received it. What do you suggest I do?

THey also sent me the wrong phone in error back in April by special delivery and was told I would be refunded the full cost. I sent this back in April and wrote to them twice chasing this up. I have still not received it. I rung them again today and they've told me to write in again.

I don't know what to do as the customer services at this company are appauling.

    Simple. Just sue them.

I've received 3 letters from OSPS CS. The first returned my original claim and bills telling me they needed the most recent bill now. Interesting as they had previously claimed that these bills hadn't been received. I'd since sent them a more recent bill which they sent back saying I was now outside the the time window [not surprising considering the delays caused by them pretending they hadn't got the original one] .
Now, a day later, I've received a letter of apology for the delay sying my claim has been passed on for processing. Too late! I've already instigated Small Claims procedure so I'm looking for them to pay up the extra £30 for that as well.
I'll let you know what happens
The Money Claim procedure is very easy [use ie not firefox] and I'll repeat Boatman's link from earlier in this thread in case anyone needs it.

Yes. The minimum Court fees are £30 but if you win you get your fees back. Do you have screen shots or printed copies of their promise to pay you though. you will need evidence of the offer.
  • I went on a 12 months contract with OSPS where they had to give me cash back. I was very busy and never checked my bank statements , silly me, and had a shock to see that nothing has come through in the last 10 months. I contacted them immediately and told them about the situation and confirmation that bills were sent to you. They said as you did not return the vouchers sent, we did not and will not pay. I told them that you never sent me any vouchers and i carried on sending you the foto copies of the bills. They say its your fault and we will not pay you even now as you have got no vouchers and will not even send you more vouchers. I kept saying that you did not send me any vouchers and they keep on blaming me and say why are you contacting us after 10 months. i keep on saying i trusted you and kept paying the bill religiously thru DD and was under the impression that you will be sending money after receipt of bills. They say we throw away all cash back claims without vouchers. I have lost nearly £250 (£25 x 10). PLEASE HELP ME AS TO WHAT SHOULD I DO AS THEY ARE NOT LISTENING
SHOULD I GO TO COURT OR ANYOTHER HELP

There is still advertisement on their website and they sent me printed brochures. I refered one of my friend by puting his details on their website and other two on phone, My friend was with me when I called them and after providing my details I handed over the phone to my friend.

I just want to know is there anyone which have recieved money through claim. Secondly they send High Street Discount Vouchers not money.

Sounds like you have a very storong case. The brochures are solid evidence, you have an independent witness and presumabluy your friend has an account - you can use that paperwork to rpove the sum is due to you. Lodge the claim and they will soon settle up.

to be honest, i think you have no chance. The details to claim cashback clearly state you need to send the vouchers with the claim - if you didn't have them you should have contacted them straight away, or at least when you went for your first claim. Nothing would have gone into your bank account anyway as they send cheques - again mentioned in all the claim information.

    Thanks for your reply

I do admit to my "SIN" but there should be some way to make them agreeable as it is a very tuff attitude of OSPS and some other gentleman might experienced something like me and resolved it. Is there anyway someone may guide me as to where will I stand in the court. Please help
